📰 My headless Raspberry Pi can finally be a real Spotify Connect player without a workaround
My headless Raspberry Pi 4 is parked near my old jBL Flip 5 speaker, and its job was to play Spotify for the longest time. I’d pair my phone to it over Bluetooth, stream from there, and hope nothing got in the way. But something always did, like a phone call, a notification, or walking too far from the Pi. That caused the music to stutter or cut out entirely. It mostly worked, but rarely felt like a proper music player.

New in Microsoft Entra October 2026: CAE device signals, Cloud Sync migration, TLS inspection
The October 2026 Entra release brings device signals into Universal Continuous Access Evaluation (CAE) for Global Secure Access and adds mTLS proof-of-possession token binding for workloads. A guided migration utility shifts Entra Connect Sync to Cloud Sync, and Microsoft-managed certificates let you run TLS inspection without operating your own PKI. Additional updates touch token protection device registration, ServiceNow access requests, B2B guest access, and SAP SuccessFactors provisioning. Microsoft now buckets announcements under "outcomes" like "trusted and resilient," which rarely explains what each capability actually does, so the following sections stick to the technical substance in the docs.

Meta’s $14 billion bet on Alexander Wang brings AI agents to the masses
Boardroom Wire traces Meta’s $14 billion investment in Scale AI and the appointment of its founder, Alexander Wang, as Meta’s chief AI officer. After Llama 4 failed to match leading models, Meta reorganized its AI effort and built Muse Spark, a closed model that powers its Muse personal agent. Muse’s free tier and rapid app-store growth offer Meta broad reach, while competition, privacy concerns, and high spending remain significant challenges.
