AI pioneer Karpathy sees a widening capability gap

Минцифры отказался вносить «Свободный офис» от «Базальт СПО» в Реестр российского ПО

... а Арбитражный суд города Москвы подтвердил законность такого решения.

Как написано на сайте basealt.ru, «Свободный офис» — это программный комплекс, созданный на базе СПО. Включает офисные пакеты, почтовый клиент, браузер Chromium с поддержкой ГОСТ-криптографии, инструменты работы с электронной подписью, а также корневой сертификат Минцифры России. Предназначен для установки на физические и виртуальные рабочие станции.

До недавнего времени, данный продукт находился на стадии внесения в Единый реестр российских программ, заявка была подана в апреле 2026 г. Однако Минцифры остановил процесс внесения ПО «Свободный офис» от «Базальт СПО» в ЕРРП.

В чем суть претензий? По факту, пакет «Свободный офис» состоит из семи программ, пять из которых, включая LibreOffice, являются разработкой третьих лиц под открытыми лицензиями. Доработки, которые сделала компания «Базальт СПО» - это добавление шифрования по ГОСТ в браузер и поставка в составе пакета собственного криптографического приложения «Сургуч» для подписывания документов.

Минцифры заявили, что ведомство не ограничивают включение в реестр ПО, созданного на базе открытых лицензий, однако продукт должен быть (существенно) модифицирован российским разработчиком. Касаемо «Свободного офиса», экспертный совет решил, что этот пакет представляет собой сборку, в которой используемые open-source компоненты (в частности LibreOffice) были представлены без модификаций. Именно отсутствие модификаций в LibreOffice, который является основной частью продукта «Свободный офис», послужило причиной того, что во включении в реестр было отказано. В свою очередь, генеральный директор «Базальт СПО» Сергей Трандин заявил: «Мы взяли лучшие мировые практики и опыт глобального сообщества, дополнили их собственными разработками, перевели компоненты на русский язык и добавили русскоязычные словари, адаптировали под все значимые архитектуры и обеспечили полное соответствие требованиям российского законодательства».

Профильные российские эксперты обращают внимание, что если Гражданский Кодекс считает модификацию СПО созданием производного произведения, права на которые могут признаваться текущим законодательством, то необходимо определить границы того, в какой момент наступает изменения, носящие творческий характер. Если изменения носят чисто технический характер (например, исправление мелких багов, оптимизация под новую ОС без изменения логики), новый объект авторского права не возникает, а при включении такого ПО в реестр возникают неудобные вопросы.

Такое положение дел создает трудности в интерпретации закона: если за творческие изменения принять даже незначительные модификации, это приведет к появлению в реестре множества «форков» известных продуктов, созданных с минимальными усилиями. Если задрать планку слишком высоко, то российский разработчик не сможет гарантировать, что потраченные время и деньги на модификацию кода, не будут признаны как незначительная либо не носящая творческого характера переработка кода. Поэтому эксперты надеются, что данное дело заложит основу в однозначном понимании того, по каким точным критериям будет проверяться вносимое в реестр ПО и какие требования надо выполнить для получения статуса российского ПО.

Diamond Rapids will be Intel’s last Xeon with SGX as TDX takes over

Intel will end new Xeon support for Software Guard Extensions (SGX) after Diamond Rapids, making Trust Domain Extensions (TDX) the focus of its confidential-computing roadmap. Existing SGX platforms are due to receive security updates and support into the early 2030s. Intel also plans to add trusted I/O, post-quantum cryptography, and enhanced attestation to TDX, though it has not set availability dates.

Опубликованы корректирующие обновления платформы для организации совместной разработки GitLab - 19.4.2, 19.3.4, 19.2.8, в которых устранены 24 уязвимости. Наиболее опасная уязвимость (CVE-2026-97229) позволяет удалённо выполнить свой код на сервере. Проблема вызвана целочисленным переполнением в коде компиляции регулярных выражений. Атаку может совершить неаутентифицированный пользователь через использование специально оформленного регулярного выражения в конфигурации CI/CD. Уязвимости присвоен уровень опасности 10 из 10.

Meta’s Muse Wonder joins OpenAI and Anthropic’s models at the frontier

Линус Торвальдс разработал серию патчей для системы управления памятью в ядре Linux, которые оптимизируют процесс чтения небольших блоков данных из страничного кэша, исключая атомарное изменение счётчика ссылок (refcount) в структуре folio. В сопроводительном коммите указано, что эти изменения, связанные с ними тесты и предварительный текст примечания были созданы AI-ассистентом Claude Code под руководством Торвальдса. Модификация включена в отдельную ветку ядра noref-filemap-read-with-llm, и пока неясно, будет ли она интегрирована в основную ветку или останется внутренним экспериментом.

Anthropic warns small AI models could soon replicate across IoT devices

Anthropic’s tests found that GLM-5.2 could autonomously spread across nearly an entire simulated network, while a 9-billion-parameter model set up inference on eight of nine hardware types. The experiments point to a potential AI worm that could use poorly secured IoT devices for compute; Anthropic estimates small models may reach the capabilities needed for end-to-end replication by the end of 2026.
