Debian’s old software is often discussed as its biggest weakness when compared to other distros. But when I picked Debian for my own home server, I specifically chose it because of those years-old versions. I am running bare-metal Debian on an old business laptop with more than 20 stacks, and Debian is the least concerning element in the homelab, and that sounds the opposite for software this old.

An alias, also called a proxy address, is an extra SMTP address on the same mailbox. With the organization setting enabled, Exchange Online keeps that alias as the sender instead of rewriting outbound mail to the primary SMTP address. The setting stays off until you enable it for the tenant, and it applies only to mailboxes hosted in Exchange Online. Client, hybrid, and compliance limits still apply.

С 10 февраля 2027 года все новые и обновляемые сертификаты будут выдаваться на 64 дня, а выданные до этой даты 90-дневные сертификаты продолжат своё действие. Помимо этого 10 февраля 2027 года с 30 до 10 дней будет сокращён период действия авторизации, т.е. времени после подтверждения своих прав на домен, в течение которого сертификат может быть выдан без прохождения повторных проверок. C 16 февраля 2028 года срок действия сертификатов намерены сократить с 64 до 45 дней, а авторизации - c 10 дней до 7 часов.

Cloudflare поглотила JavaScript-платформу Deno и прекратит её разработку

Что касается других разработок компании Deno Land, то проект celld, позволяющий запускать Worker-приложения на своих серверах, будет интегрирован с платформой Cloudflare Workers. Платформа Deno Deploy будет поддерживаться ещё шесть месяцев, после чего прекратит существование, а платным пользователям обеспечат миграцию на Cloudflare Workers. Репозиторий пакетов JSR (JavaScript Registry) продолжит работу, но связанная с ним инфраструктура будет перенесена в Cloudflare. Поддержка rusty_v8, Rust-обвязок для движка V8, будет продолжена, но разработка будет интегрирована с JavaScript runtime workerd.
Разработчики Deno переключатся на работу над self-hosting вариантом платформы Cloudflare Workers и возможностями для разработки приложений с использованием механизма Durable Objects. Кроме runtime платформа Deno также выполняет роль пакетного менеджера и позволяет внутри кода обращаться к модулям по URL.

Компания Cloudflare купила фирму Deno Land Inc, развивающую платформу Deno. Корректирующие релизы Deno runtime и обновления с устранением уязвимостей планируют публиковать ещё год, после чего разработка Deno будет прекращена. Код Deno останется открытым и при наличии интереса сообщество сможет своими силами продолжить развитие платформы.
Что касается других разработок компании Deno Land, то проект celld, позволяющий запускать Worker-приложения на своих серверах, будет интегрирован с платформой Cloudflare Workers. Платформа Deno Deploy будет поддерживаться ещё шесть месяцев, после чего прекратит существование, а платным пользователям обеспечат миграцию на Cloudflare Workers. Репозиторий пакетов JSR (JavaScript Registry) продолжит работу, но связанная с ним инфраструктура будет перенесена в Cloudflare. Поддержка rusty_v8, Rust-обвязок для движка V8, будет продолжена, но разработка будет интегрирована с JavaScript runtime workerd.

Math professor details how OpenAI stole his intellectual property and then blackmailed him
NYU mathematics professor Tristan Buckmaster describes a dispute over OpenAI’s claims about solving the Navier–Stokes problem. He says that he and his collaborator had reached a related result on the Euler equations, and that OpenAI’s researchers made rapid progress using his discovery right after identifying his AI conversations. Buckmaster also describes how he was bribed to publish OpenAI’s paper as the sole author, and was warned that his career would be damaged if he did not comply with OpenAI’s demands. He also alleges that the OpenAI researchers’ public statements were deceptive.

Среди изменений: включение по умолчанию UTF-8, отложенная загрузка модулей, оптимизация экспериментального JIT-компилятора, типы frozendict и sentinel, файлы конфигурации для инициализации при запуске, расширение возможностей для профилирования, сборка в режиме "-fno-omit-frame-pointer" и встроенная текстовая игра "whatsnewt". Новая ветка будет поддерживаться в течение полутора лет, после чего ещё три с половиной года для неё будут формироваться исправления с устранением уязвимостей.

GhostAction spreads malicious GitHub Actions to tens of thousands of repositories
GhostAction has escalated, with more than 500 GitHub accounts used to commit malicious workflows across tens of thousands of repositories since October 7, 2026. The workflows impersonate security audits and steal credentials, including secrets buried in a repository’s Git history. Google is testing Gemini 4 Carbon on its internal Jetski coding platform, where one employee said its programming performance compares with Anthropic’s Opus 5.5.
