Blanc is a new open-source browser that replaces the traditional, always-visible tab strip and address toolbar with a minimal ‘island’. This pill floats over the web page to show the current site address, common actions like back/forward and bookmark and to relay page security information. Canonical has released a test build of Ubuntu 26.10 with early support for laptops using Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X2 chips.
