Flock camera breach exposes its encryption key and 1.6 million images

A hacker collective physically removed a Flock Safety roadside camera, copied its storage, and found an encryption key on an unprotected partition. The key opened a larger storage area containing roughly 1.6 million images and 50,200 vehicle detections, showing how much evidence the device retained before uploading data to Flock’s cloud.

New features in Microsoft Desired State Configuration v3.3.0

Microsoft has released Desired State Configuration (DSC) v3.3.0, the latest version of its cross-platform configuration management platform. DSC lets you describe the desired state of a Windows or Linux system in a YAML or JSON configuration document and then apply, verify, or export that state with the dsc command-line tool. Version 3.3.0 adds three built-in Windows resources, a registry-backed adapter, wider --what-if support, new expression functions, and Linux packages on Microsoft's package repository. The release follows DSC v3.2.0: new Windows resources, version pinning, and Bicep integration, which introduced the first wave of built-in Windows resources.
