Krita 5.3.0 и 6.0.0

24 марта 2026 года состоялись выпуски 5.3.0 и 6.0.0 популярного графического редактора Krita. Вместе со стабильной версией 5.3.0 представлен версия 6.0.0, которая знаменует собой переход на библиотеку Qt 6.
Особенность выпусков в том, что обе версии собираются из одного исходного кода. Выбор между ними зависит от того, с какими версиями Qt выполняется сборка.

Компания NVIDIA опубликовала выпуск проприетарного драйвера NVIDIA 595.58.03 (первый стабильный выпуск новой ветки 595). Драйвер доступен для Linux (ARM64, x86_64), FreeBSD (x86_64) и Solaris (x86_64). NVIDIA 595.x стала тринадцатой стабильной веткой после открытия компанией NVIDIA компонентов, работающих на уровне ядра. Исходные тексты модулей ядра nvidia.ko, nvidia-drm.ko (Direct Rendering Manager), nvidia-modeset.ko и nvidia-uvm.ko (Unified Video Memory) из новой ветки NVIDIA, а также используемые в них общие компоненты, не привязанные к операционной системе, размещены на GitHub. Прошивки и используемые в пространстве пользователя библиотеки, такие как стеки CUDA, OpenGL и Vulkan, остаются проприетарными.

In testing thus far on Ubuntu 26.04, the KDE Plasma 6.6 desktop with the Wayland session is working pretty darn well and delivering a performance edge across many games/graphics workloads compared to the default GNOME 50 desktop. Теперь при установке можно выбрать только одну среду рабочего стола — KDE Plasma или Xfce. По умолчанию система предлагает обновленную KDE Plasma 6.
Добавлено приложение «Альт Компоненты» для управления компонентами в графике.
В приложении работают механизмы защиты системы от случайного удаления критически важных пакетов.
Это новые механизмы в Альтераторе:

Защита редакции.
Защита ручных установок.

Продвинутым пользователям и системным администраторам оставили возможность отключить эти запреты.


Теперь в инсталляторе можно выбрать установку сертификата ЕСПД (Единая сеть передачи данных). После этого для подключения к защищённой сети образовательного учреждения достаточно прописать прокси-сервер (выданный организации). Это исключает необходимость подключения к обычной (общедоступной) сети и снижает риск ошибок при настройке сертификата вручную.
