Das ehemalig investigative Nachrichtenmagazin Monitor von der ARD ist ganz offenbar zu einem Propagandamagazin im Stile des „Schwarzen Kanals“ mutiert. Kommentierte früher ein Klaus Bednarz noch scharf den Eduard von Schnitzler vom „Schwarzen Kanal“ im DDR-Fernsehen, so hat man jetzt den Eindruck Herr Schnitzler höchstpersönlich hätte in die Chefebene der Monitorredaktion gewechselt. Die Sendung vom 02.04.2020 ist ein sehr schönes Beispiel für die Gestaltung eines Beitrags unter massiver Zuhilfenahme von Propagandamitteln und unlauteren Methoden der Meinungsmanipulation. In der Sendung werden die Methoden aufgeschlüsselt mit denen gearbeitet wurde und welche Protagonisten interviewt worden. Besonders das gegenseitige Beziehungsgeflecht der Interviewpartner ist eine wahre Fundgrube für den interessierten Medienbeobachter. Und zu allem Überfluss geht es auch mal wieder um die Amadeu Antonio Stiftung. Ich wünsche 52min informative Unterhaltung.

Translations of the updated summary into 24 languages will follow shortly.The medical debate is mostly over, as all new serological studies converge towards a flu-like 0.2% overall lethality with 50 to 70% of deaths occurring in vulnerable nursing homes. SPR has published a comprehensive new update on recent medical and political developments concerning Covid-19. This is our final regular update on Covid-19.Most importantly, a new preprint study by leading Swiss immunologists shows that coronavirus blood antibody tests may detect at most 20% of all infections, as most people neutralize the virus with their mucosal or innate immune system, developing only mild or no symptoms.This means that Covid-19 is likely much more widespread than previously assumed, and its infection fatality rate (IFR) may drop well below 0.1% and thus into the range of a strong seasonal influenza, as already predicted by several epidemiological experts.In recent months, SPR has reached millions of people in close to 30 languages from around the globe. Why Covid “immunity passports” are bound to fail
One of the many questionable aspects of the political response to the coronavirus pandemic – besides lockdowns, contact tracing apps and tracing corps, or mandatory face masks – is the still discussed idea of “immunity passports” to regulate participation in work and travel.In fact, Covid immunity passports are bound to fail, simply because antibody tests can detect at most 20% of all infections, as the pioneering research by Professor Onur Boyman has shown.Professor Boyman’s group found that most people neutralize the new coronavirus with their mucosal (IgA) or cellular (T-cells) immune system while developing only mild symptoms or no symptoms at all.
