[Tutorial] How to transfer your Animal Crossing: New Horizons save from emuMMC to SysNAND w/o CheckPoint or Edizon
As you may have noticed, ACNH does not appear in Checkpoint or Edizon due to the console based save mechanism. However, with a bit of extra work, the save can be exported in an encrypted format and transferred to your clean SysNAND without using Checkpoint or Edizon.Theoretically, this method should be the safest possible to avoid the risk of a ban if you decide to play online in SysNAND.Make sure your emuMMC game and SysNAND game are on the same version to avoid corruption! You will need:- A computer running Windows- A MicroSD reader, or other way to read a MicroSD card- A USB C cable to connect to your computer- The latest release of TegraRcmGui- The latest release of HacDiskMount- The latest release of Lockpick_RCMIf you can, make sure your SysNAND is completely clean from hacks and any traces of CFW. Restore from a NAND backup if necessary.Create a burner island save on your SysNAND by running through the initial tutorial, sleeping, then waking up, and finally saving using the minus key and exiting.Boot to your emuMMC. Backup all of your non-ACNH saves using Checkpoint or Edizon. This is critical as we will be wiping all saves besides ACNH to make it much easier to find the files we need.Go to System Settings -> Data Management -> Delete Save Data. Delete all BACKED UP Save Data except the data for ACNH. Note the file size of the ACNH save as this will be important to find your file later. In my case, it was around 222MB.Exit Settings, and enter Homebrew to open a file browser of your choice.
