I have created /r/switchroot
Hello /r/switchhaxing! I have created the subreddit /r/SwitchRoot to aggregate all Android for switch information. I won't be able to make too many changes to it until later tonight, but feel free to start collecting data, asking questions, and generally discussing Android on Switch! As I have already posted over on /r/switchhacks, I dont want to necessarily prompt this community to all move over there, or even remove any posts from here, but rather make a place where we can have focused discussion of Android on Switch and ask questions.

How To: Switchroot with larger FAT32 partition or exTANt partition
This is a temporary guide that will be expanded more when I'm at my computer, with links and more in-depth instructions. If you want to do it now, use a lot of google to understand it.1) Etch Switchroot image to SDCARD, use the 32gb image if you don't need a lot of android storage.2) Burn

Hello there, Mariko :)
Max CPU overclock increases chip temp by 4 degrees C
Just watched this video, where Digital Foundry used a hacked switch to test CPU and GPU overclocking across several games. About a month ago, I posted here asking if anyone had run into issues in the medium-long term overclocking (specifically with RetroArch), only to get the post deleted before anyone responded. I then posted in the FAQ thread, and got ignored again. I asked mods if I could repost the question, and never got a response. Hopefully this post doesn't also get deleted, now that I have an answer I can provide for anyone else that was worried about all the doomsaying about high temperatures, overheating, and melting plastic.DF's analysis (which used the CPU temperature reported by the chip itself) said that under max load, stock, the CPU runs at 60 degrees C. With a max overclock, that creeps up to 64. With the GPU also overclocked, 67. The chip doesn't start to throttle until 83 degrees C, so... it's probably completely safe to overclock at max at all times. Battery life impact is another concern entirely, but the watt usage apparently goes up from 15 to 19 watts.

Sleep mode support
So I just had an interesting idea and wondered if any SE's have looked into it. Is there a way of making sleep mode support more than just eshop downloads? If that ability could be unlocked then it would give many possibilities such as leaving an smtp running for file transfers, downloads of homebrew apps, ect. It would mean being able to keep the network running while saving battery. I personally keep using a smtp server to mess around with the file system remotely (so far no brick, probably jynxed myself now).

Installing Android 8.1 Oreo On The Nintendo Switch Guide Published
I've just published a guide on how to get the recently released LineageOS (Android 8.1 Oreo) up and running on your homebrew capable Nintendo Switch hybrid video gaming console. The Android gaming experience is top notch. Just make sure you're using a more modern and fast Micro SD card!https://www.scenefolks.com/pages.php?page=4211
