Right after purchasing NSO Group as Director of Novalpina Capital, Stephen Peel stepped down from the board of Global Witness.
Stephen Peel is a long time associate of George Soros. Peel even reached out to Soros in an attempt to mitigate bad press surrounding NSO, bc much of that bad press is tied to Soros funding as well.
George Soros suggested that Peel divest from NSO. But the bigger question is, WHY IS SOROS ADVISING IN THIS MATTER AT ALL?
