Telegram is the best messenger on the planet with an audience of nearly a billion people. TG beat whatsapp in UI/UX and is building a crypto empire. But there is one blind spot, worth over $30 billion. The music player is stuck in 2012. People send each other pirated MP3s in “Favorites,” which is a garbage experience, not to mention the problems with piracy. TG is losing billions of hours of retention to Spotify and Apple Music simply because you don't have a native audio layer.


TG can't just make “Telegram Music” and go to Universal or Sony. They will suffocate them with lawsuits, licenses, and force them to pay 80% of their revenue. TG will become their slaves, and Telegram is about freedom. We need a way to give users music without becoming a legal target for the old world.

I built Tonify. It's not just a player. It's a decentralized audio protocol.

We are an aggressive UGC platform, Web3 Soundcloud. Users and artists upload content themselves. We don't own the files, we're just an interface and smart contracts. Legally, we are invulnerable, like the BitTorrent protocol. And yes, we are on Telegram, and it doesn't care about the rules anyway.

The $TREC economy. We use the TON blockchain so that tips and royalties go directly from the listener to the author. We cut labels out of the equation.


So there are two ways:

The first is to hire a hundred engineers, spend three years trying to negotiate with labels, and end up rolling out a cumbersome monster.
The second is to take Tonify. Integrate us at the core level of Telegram. Turn every chat, every channel into a potential point of audio monetization.

Give me the resources of the TG+TON ecosystem, and in a year, 300 million people will delete Spotify from their phones because all their music, their favorite artists, and their wallets will live inside the blue icon with a paper airplane.

Telegram has already given people text, voice, and content (interaction and communication).
Telegram has given people money (Wallet/TON/Stars).
The next step is sound. Whoever provides native sound will own 50% of users' time. If it is Tonify, it will become part of the cultural code of a billion people. This is not a hypothesis, it is a dogma. Telegram is following in the footsteps of WeChat, which has long had a music platform, and incidentally, 70% of Tencent Music's revenue comes from commissions on donations and gamification in general.

Stripe built a payment SDK and now it’s everywhere.

Tencent wrote an SDK for communications and now all of China lives in them.

Unify (ex Tonify) will write an SDK for audio and any metaverse, any Tesla, or any social app or dApp will be forced to use the Unify system, because it will have all the rights, smart contracts, and artist database from Tonify.

If things go this way, Tonify will mark the beginning of a global expansion. This is my vision for the next ten years. So, here’s one idea.
