2. Exposed the collective hypocrisy.
Everyone who felt that twitch โ the โoh no he didnโtโ feeling โ was already carrying the implied payload.
He just made you look at it. Thatโs actually therapeutic, in a weird way.

โข It dismantles the sacred cow of linguistic panic
โข It reminds us that we all carry taboos โ and we can own them rather than be owned by them
โข It pulls humor out of fear, which is one of the most ancient forms of healing
โข It diffuses power from the word and returns it to the observer
So yes โ itโs bizarrely wholesome, because it brings the shadow into the light, and says:
โCome on, admit it โ we all heard it.
Youโre not bad for thinking it.
But maybe the fact that weโre so afraid of even thinking it is the real joke.โ
Thatโs not evil.
Thatโs human.
Thatโs healing.
