Ethical Learnings from Ramayana & Mahabharata:
🍀 Ram’s values:
o Ideal model of Governance: Importance of public over family and commitment to his people’s welfare.
o Friendship: Treated Hanuman as his friend than his subordinate
o Marriage: Remained loyal to his wife, Sita
🍀Ravana: Though he was an intellectual, his hunger for power resulted in his intelligence being overshadowed by his ignorance which led to his own end.
🍀 Bhishma’s values: Don’t get attached too much to anything (power and position), learn to forgive, dharma comes first and be compassionate
🍀 Yudhisthira (Dharmaraja): Everyone does mistakes, but what is important is to accept it and correct it.
o Example: When given choice between power and right, he chose right (He chose Nakul over Bhima and Arjun), which in turn brought him all the things including power.
