Sumokoin new code is currently under testing phase. A date for the hardfork will be defined in the following days. The update will be divided in two hardforks, one to enable the new mining algorithm (which is asic resistant) and another one to enable bulletproofs.

Sumokoin "Morioka" v0.5.0.0 is a major update to:
- Mostly rebase Sumokoin to Monero v0.14.0.2 code base (with many feature/stability improvements)
- Enable Bulletproof (v2) that allows much smaller tx size at the same mixins (or ringsize)
- Increase ringsize from 13 to 49 for absolute privacy
- Move away from ASIC-friendly (Cryptonight classic) to ASIC-resistant Cryptonight-R POW
There are 2 consecutive hardforks enclosed in this release:
1. Hardfork v7: at block# 274000 (enable bulletproof + larger ringsize, new POW)
2. Hardfork v8: at block# 274360 (prohibit old RingCT tx format)
The hardforks should happen automatically with no manual intervention needed (as long as your node is updated with the latest release). Pools will need to update pow verification to Cryptonight-R after hardfork v7.
