وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ ٱلْوَرِيد
This kitab will change your life forever.
It's called Ad-Dā' wa Ad-Dawā' (The Disease and the Cure) by Imam Ibn al-Qayyim(رحمه الله).
Its purpose is to heal the heart from the illnesses it suffers—and it has a truly unique approach.
It begins with a comforting reminder: "Every illness has a cure." Which is hope giving for those who lost it. It deeply explains the consequences of our actions while constantly reminding us of Allah's infinite mercy, giving both hope and guidance.
Then the healing begins through the beautiful words of Allah in the Qur'an and the authentic teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Step by step, it encourages you to take action, starting with the smallest changes and gradually building toward greater transformation. It shows you that what feels impossible is, by the will of Allah, entirely possible.
By the end, your heart begins to detach from the illness that once weighed it down and starts to taste the true sweetness of life—a sweetness that can only be found with Allah. ❤️
