While many people successfully use #Telegram to distribute information among millions of users (posts broadcasted by channels generate over 350 billion views monthly), Telegram will remain an easy-to-use minimalist tool, with chats at the center of the user experience.

Some users asked whether comments will become the default mode for channels. While we think it’s fun to comment on channels, most channels don’t need commenting, so it will remain optional and disabled by default.
That said, native comments are a great upgrade…

#Telegram小考察
In the recent release of Telegram for Android 7.1 source, we can see a lot of new types, methods, and constructors added for the new features.
However, among those new stuff added for the released features, there are some new things added for features that we have yet to see. A bunch of Reaction related entities are added to API schema which outlines a comprehensive interface for message reaction support (c.f. similar features in Slack, Teams, Discord, etc.).
By looking at the method definitions we believe that the reaction mechanism could be emoji based — like other IMs — and potentially limited to a set of fixed emojis to reduce complexity (as seen in iMessages and FB Messengers).
Those entities are:
- Objects / Constructors
- MessageReactionsList(int flags, int count, MessageUserReaction[] reactions, User[] users, string next_offset)
- MessageReactions(int flag, boolean min, ReactionCount[] result)
- MessageUserReaction(int user_id, string reaction)
- ReactionCount(int flags, boolean chosen, string reaction, int count)
- Methods
- UpdateMessageReactions(Peer peer, int msg_id, MessageReactions reactions)
- GetMessageReactions(InputPeer peer, int[] id)
- GetMessageReactionsList(int flags, InputPeer peer, int id, String reaction, String offset, int limit)
- SendReaction(int flags, InputPeer peer, int msg_id, String reaction)
- Attributes
- MessageReactions Message.reactions
