Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullah) said:

Indeed, the Quran, from its beginning to its end, commands with Taqwa and exhorts to it

to the extent that there is nothing that is mentioned more than it in the Quran.

And it (Taqwa) is the command of Allah to the beginning and end (of mankind),

it is the distinguishing characteristic sign of the close allies of Allah,

and the beginning of the call of (all) the Prophets (alayhim al-salam).

وصايا لقارئ القرآن في رمضان

١- لا تكثر المشاريع (تلاوة- حفظ- تفسير- أحكام- تدبر)، ركّز على ما يتيسّر لك لا سيما التلاوة بتدبر.

٢- اتل القرآن بحضور قلب وجمع ذهن ولا تقطع استرسالك بجوالك أو سواه، قال تعالى ذاكرًا صفة استماع المؤمنين المنتفعين بالقرآن: (إن في ذلك لذكرى لمن كان له قلب أو ألقى السمع وهو شهيد)، (وإذا قرئ القرآن فاستمعوا له وأنصتوا لعلكم ترحمون)، وقال عن المنافقين: (ومنهم من يستمع إليك حتى إذا خرجوا من عندك قالوا للذين أوتوا العلم ماذا قال آنفا)، (وإذ صرفنا إليك نفرا من الجن يستمعون القرآن فلما حضروه قالوا أنصتوا فلما قضي ولوا إلى قومهم منذرين).
وكذلك افعل عند سماع تلاوة الإمام في صلاة التراويح.

٣- سل الله الإعانة: (إياك نعبد وإياك نستعين)، (فاعبده وتوكل عليه)، "اللهم أعني على ذكرك وشكرك وحسن عبادتك".

٤- لتكن عنايتك أولاً بالمعاني الظاهرة قبل طلب الاستنباطات الخفية والمعاني الثواني.

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:

"لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَكْرَمَ عَلَى اَللَّهِ مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ "

Prophet ﷺ said :

"Nothing is more honorable before Allah than supplication.”

- رواه الترمذي (3370)

لو ضيعت العشرين الأولى
If you wasted the previous 20 days,

أبشرك،
glad tidings to you;

الله بلغك عشر هي خير العشر.
as Allah has allowed you to reach the best ten nights of the year.

القادم من رمضان أفضل من الماضي،
The upcoming days of Ramadan are better than the past days of it,

فلا تظلم نفسك.
so don’t oppress yourself (by wasting these as well).

Shaykh Ibn Baz رحمه الله said:

Whoever strives hard in all ten days of Ramadan in prayer, (recitation of) the Quran, supplication and other (similar) aspects of goodness, he caught Laylat al-Qadr without doubt and won what Allah had promised to those who performed it …if he did that out of (sincere) faith and in the hope of reward.

اللهم انك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عني...

What can Allāh do for me?

‎Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله:

‎• He forgives sins
‎• Eases worries
‎• Relieves distress
‎• Helps the defeated person back on his feet
‎• Makes the poor rich
‎• Guides the one who is astray and confused
‎• Fulfils the needs of the desperate
‎• Feeds the hungry
• Clothes the naked
• Conceals faults
• Calms fears

[al-Waabil as-Sayyib | P. 125]

"اللهم إني أعوذ بك من العجز والكسل، والبخل والهرم، وعذاب القبر،

اللهم آت نفسي تقواها، وزكها أنت خير من زكاها، أنت وليها ومولاها،

اللهم إني أعوذ بك من علم لا ينفع ومن قلب لا يخشع، ومن نفس لا تشبع، ومن دعوة لا يستجاب لها‏."


The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would supplicate:

" O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the inability (to do good), indolence, cowardice, miserliness, decrepitude and torment of the grave.

O Allah! Grant me the sense of piety and purify my soul as You are the Best to purify it.
You are its Guardian and its Protecting Friend.

O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the knowledge which is not beneficial, and from a heart which does not fear (You), and from desire which is not satisfied, and from prayer which is not answered. " [ nisai 5458]

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم used to supplicate :

"اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى ‏"‏ ‏.‏

"O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity and affluence"

Alhamdulillah so far we have raised an amount of £303 which is 11,723 Egyptian Pounds. If 50 generous people just donated £25 we would raise 50,000 egp, which would cover majority of the expenses if not all.

As we are in the last Friday of Ramadan, dig deep and save yourself from the hell fire with your sadaqah. Even if it just be £5, that is almost 200egp which goes an extremely long way here.

عن أبي هريرة أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: «إذا مات ابن آدم انقطع عمله إلا من ثلاث: صدقة جارية، أو علم ينتفع به، أو ولد صالح يدعو له.»

‏الصدقة الجارية يبقى أجرها لك في محياك وبعد مماتك! 🤍

Imān and Ikhlās  🌟

فإن الأعمال تتفاضل بتفاضل ما في القلوب من الإيمان والإخلاص وإنَّ الرجلين ليكون مقامهما في الصف واحدا وبين صلاتيهما كما بين السماء والأرض وليس كل من نحى غصن شوك عن الطريق يُغفر له

"One's deeds differ according to what is in the heart in regards to imān and ikhlās. Two men may stand together in the same row and yet (the reward of) their salāt will be like the distance between the heavens and earth. And not everyone who removes a thorn from the road will be worthy of forgiveness."

#إنما_الأعمال_بالنيات

إنَّ من أفضل الأعمال في ليلة القدر كثرة الدعاء !!
وأفضل الدعاء الكلمات الجامعة التي جاءت عن نبينا ﷺ، وأجمع الدعاء ما كان في القرآن، وقد جاء أنَّ أيوب السختياني؛ شيخ الإمام مالك كان يؤم قومه بالبصرة، وكان يقنت لهم في العشر الأواخر، وكان يدعو بالدعاء الذي في القران فقط، فالمسلم يدعو في هذه الأيام ويجتهد بخيري الدنيا والآخرة، وآكد الدعاء جوامع الكلم، وآكد جوامع الكلم هو دعاء الذي علَّم النبي ﷺ زوجته عايشة رضي الله عنها، وهو اللهم أنك عفو تحب العفو فاعفو عني
ومن عفا الله عنه فإنه سعيد! وهو الذي يُغبط على توفيق الله له العفو والمغفرة.
