الحرص الحرص على كلام الله - جل وعلا -، وليجعل الإنسان له وِردًا يوميا لا يفرط به سفرًا ولا حضرًا، في صحته ولا في سقمه؛ لأن مثل هذا لا يكلف شيئا.

‏قال الإمام ‎ابن عثيمين رحمه الله:

ينبغي للإنسان أن يتفقد نفسه دائماً هل هو مستقيم أوغير مستقيم، فإن كان مستقيماً حمدالله عز وجل وأثنى عليه وسأل الله الثبات، وإن كان غير مستقيم وجب عليه الاستقامة وأن يعدل سيره إلى الله عز وجل

قال الحسن البصري رحمه الله: الفَهمُ وِعاءُ العِلم، والعلمُ دليلُ العَمَل، والعملُ قائدُ الخَير، والهوى مَركَبُ المعاصي، والدُّنيا سوق الآخرة، والويلُ كُلُّ الويْلِ لِمن قَوِيَ بِنعمِ الله على معاصيهِ

"Understanding (of Deen) is the vessel of knowledge, and knowledge is the guide to action. Action is the chief to (reaching) goodness, while base desires compound wrongdoing. The dunya is a marketplace for the ākhirah; and woe to those who give in to disobedience with the very strength of grace that Allāh has blessed them with."

❝ Whoever seeks honour and power, then ˹let them know that˺ all honour and power belongs to Allāh. To Him ˹alone˺ good words ascend, and righteous deeds are raised up... ❞ ~ Fātir:10

Cover your sins

Ibn al-Jawzī رحمه الله said in ‘Sayd al-Khātir’,

“You ought to know that whatever Allāh has chosen for you is better than what you would choose for yourself - for you might pray for a drop that consequently becomes a torrent that takes you away!

It is reported that a man used to ask Allāh to facilitate for him joining a battle to fight for His sake. He then heard a voice saying: “If you were to fight in the battle you will fall captive, and if you become a captive, you will become an apostate.”

Some of the righteous would say, “I like my condition, for Allāh likes it for me.”

﴿أَفَمَن شَرَحَ اللَّهُ صَدرَهُ لِلإِسلامِ فَهُوَ عَلى نورٍ مِن رَبِّهِ فَوَيلٌ لِلقاسِيَةِ قُلوبُهُم مِن ذِكرِ اللَّهِ أُولئِكَ في ضَلالٍ مُبينٍ﴾
آيات بيّنات بصوت شجيّ يُعيدك للماضي ♥️.

طاعة الله تعالى وخشيته في الخلوات من أسباب المغفرة ودخول الجنة ﴿إِنَّ الَّذينَ يَخشَونَ رَبَّهُم بِالغَيبِ لَهُم مَغفِرَةٌ وَأَجرٌ كَبيرٌ﴾..
‏- تلاوة كالمشرب الزّلال للوارد الظمآن ♥️!

one of my favourite reciters الله يحفظه

The recitation of the Qur'an includes the five objectives and intentions ;
1. rewards
2. secret conversations
3. healing
4. knowledge
5. implementation

So whenever a muslim recites the Qur'an focusing on these five objectives, he obtains great benefits, and great rewards, for Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم said :

"Actions are but by intentions, and each person will have but that which he intended.".

The healing with the quran is of four types :

1. the healing of the soul from the desires.
2. the healing of the heart from the doubts.
3. the healing of the heart from distress, grief, and anxiousness.
4. the healing of the body.

Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:

The Qur’an removes those diseases that bring about evil desires until the heart becomes sound, thereby making its intentions sound. It (the heart) then returns to its natural state in which it was created like a body returns to its natural healthy state

﴿ولا تكونوا كالتي نقضت غزلها من بعد قوة﴾

﴿إِنَّ الَّذينَ آمَنوا وَعَمِلُوا الصّالِحاتِ سَيَجعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحمنُ وُدًّا﴾🤎
‏"من نعمه على عباده الذين جمعوا بين الإيمان والعمل الصالح أنه يجعل لهم وداً ومحبة في قلوب أوليائه وأهل السماء والأرض"

"وما هو طعم الحياة بلا قُرآن يُتلى؟"

❝Imam Ahmad (r) said,

'When a man asks for a woman's hand in marriage he should inquire about her beauty; if he is pleased, he should ask about her religiosity; if he is pleased, he should marry her and if he isn't pleased then his rejection is based on (him not being satisfied with her) religiosity.
One shouldn't ask about religiosity first, whereby if he is pleased with it he asks about her beauty and if he isn't pleased with it he rejects her, as this rejection becomes based on her beauty and not on the account of her religiosity.'❞

[Sharh Muntaha-l Iradat]

Meaning, it is as if religion turned less significant as he rejected her based on her looks even though he was happy with her religiosity. So by asking about her beauty first and religion after, it does not give rise to this issue.

In case some readers are thinking whether this contradicts the statement of our beloved Messenger ﷺ :

فاظفر بذات الدين تربت يداك

❝Choose the one who is religiously committed, may your hands be rubbed with dust (i.e. - may you prosper).❞

There is no contradiction at all as what Imam Ahmad said was to ask about beauty first and then religion so that if it came down to rejection, it would be based on the beauty and not the religion. So, this is elevating the religion and giving it prime importance in selection, not downplaying it as wrongly understood by some.

قَـال العـَلامة ابن عُثـيمِين -رحمَـه الله تَعـَالَـى:

‏يُخشى ﻋﻠﻰ اﻹﻧﺴﺎﻥ ﺇﺫا ﻋﻮّﺩ ﻧﻔﺴﻪ اﻟﺘﺄﺧﺮ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻌﺒﺎﺩﺓ ﺃﻥ ﻳُﺒﺘﻠﻰ ﺑﺄﻥ ﻳﺆﺧﺮﻩ اﻟﻠﻪ ﻓﻲ ﺟﻤﻴﻊ ﻣﻮاﻃﻦ اﻟﺨﻴﺮ

Yūnus ibn ‘Ubayd رحمه الله said:

“From the mannerisms of the first [generations] was [frequently] looking at the Mushaf!”
