لا تُرهق قلبك بالحزن؛
Don’t exhaust your heart with sadness;

فإنَّه لا يردُّ مفقودًا،
for it does not return a lost one,

ولا يحفظ موجودًا،
nor does it protect a living one.

واملأ قلبك بما يُقوِّيه من الثِّقة بالله،
Fill your heart with that which strengthens it: from putting your trust in Allah,

وتفويض الأمر إليه،
entrusting your affairs to Him,

والاعراض عن الالتفات لغيره،
avoiding turning to anyone but Him,

وحسن الظَّنِّ به،
thinking positively of Him,

واليقين أنَّ الخِيرة فيما اختاره،
and being certain that good is in what He chose.

فتلك سلوة الحزين،
This is the consolation of the sad one,

وسكينة قلوب المؤمنين.
and the tranquility of the hearts of the believers. 💜

If you happen to slip into disobedience, don't give up on your ‏obedience. Don’t be defeated twice.

" قال لا تخَافَا إنني مَعَكُمَا .. "

‏رحمة الله قريبة ومن أسبابها سماع القُرآن ❤️

it is reported that ʿabd Allāh bin masʿūd (رضي الله عنه) said:

‎"there is no comfort or rest for the believer until he meets Allāh."

‎[al-zuhd, 86 — wakīʿ bin al-jarrāḥ]

ibn al-jawzī (رحمه الله) said:

‎"endure the nights of hardship, because if you look through the eye of patience you shall see the dawn of reward. indeed, the lofty ranks can be attained only by undergoing hardship! did you not notice the thorns growing beside the roses?"

[seeds of admonishment and reform, pg. 122]

saʿīd bin jubayr (رحمه الله) said:

‎"the first ones to be called towards jannah are those who praise Allāh in every condition, in happiness and in distress."

[al-zuhd — ibn al-mubārak, 206]

اغتنم لحظات إقبالك علىٰ الله في ساعة الإستجابة
فالسعيد من واكبها والمحروم من حرم من فضلها
إنها آخر ساعة من يوم الجمعة.

Fads and trends aside, Islam came with the truth.

Repent and come with something good today.

"همسات في الظِّلمات كفيلة بكُنْ .. فيكون"..
‏ياربّ 💔✨..

"صلى عليك الله يا نُورًا سرى..
‏ في المشرقين ففرت الظلمات."

ibn al-qayyim (‏رحمه الله) said:

إِنَّمَا يجد الْمَشَقَّة فِي ترك المألوفات والعوائد من تَركهَا لغير الله فَأَما من تَركهَا صَادِقا مخلصا من قلبه لله فانه لَا يجد فِي تَركهَا مشقة إِلَّا فِي أول وهلة ليمتحن أصادق هُوَ فِي تَركهَا أم كَاذِب فان صَبر على تِلْكَ الْمَشَقَّة قَلِيلا استحالت لَذَّة

"indeed, one will find difficulty in leaving bad habits (if they) leave it for other than the sake of Allāh.

but as for the one who leaves it sincerely and truthfully for Allāh, then they will not find difficulty in leaving it, except at the beginning, to be tested as to whether they were truthful about stopping (the bad habit) or if they were (simply just) a kadhāb (a liar),

for indeed being patient upon that little difficulty (at the beginning) brings about pleasure (in the long run)."

قَالَ شَيخُ الإِسلَام ابْنُ تَيمِيَّة -رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى-: "فَإِنَّ الإِنسَان إِذَا قَرَأَ القُرآن وَتَدبَّرهُ وتَأمَّل آيَاتِهِ كَانَ ذَلِكَ مِن أَقوَى الأَسبَاب المَانِعَة لَه مِن المَعَاصِي أَو بَعضهَا"

من أسوأ العقوبات التي تصيب ⁦ الإنسان ⁩ أن "ينسى نفسه" فيمشي في طريق الشر يظنه سبيل الخير. ويختار السيء ويراه الجيد، ويقرر الخطأ مع وضوح الصواب ويترك الحسن ويستبدله بالقبيح وهو في كل ذلك لا يتوقف ولا يتراجع. ولم أكن أتصور أن هذه عقوبة حتى تأملت قول الله ﴿نسوا الله فأنساهم أنفسهم﴾."

ومن دلائل قدرة الله سبحانه وتعالى أنه يقلب الليل والنهار بمجيء أحدهما بعد الآخر، واختلافهما طولا وقِصَرًا، إن في ذلك لَدلالة يعتبر بها كل مَن له بصيرة.
