الذي فرَّج عن إبراهيم عليه السلام كُربته وجعل النار المُحرقة بردًا وسلامًا، قادرٌ أن يكشف كربك ويُذهب همَّك!

The One who relieved Ibrahim (peace be upon him) of his distress and turned the scorching fire into coolness and safety, is capable of uncovering your distress and taking away your worries!

الروحُ تألف من يُماثل طُهرَها.

The soul grows fond of those who resemble its own purity.

Ibn Taymiyyah says:

"By Allah, a matter often becomes blocked and shut in my face; so I seek Allah’s forgiveness (Istighfar) a thousand times, and it is opened for me. Have trust that seeking forgiveness opens the doors of goodness, success, and prosperity for you."

On the authority of Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him), he said:

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

"I know of a verse which, if all people were to follow it, would suffice them:

'And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out, and will provide for him from where he does not expect.'

(At-Talaq: 2-3)."

وَٱلْفَجْرِ (١) وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍۢ (٢) وَٱلشَّفْعِ وَٱلْوَتْرِ (٣) وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَسْرِ (٤) هَلْ فِى ذَٰلِكَ قَسَمٌۭ لِّذِى حِجْرٍ (٥)


By the dawn,
And by the ten nights,
And by the even and the odd,
And by the night when it passes away,
Is there not in that an oath sufficient for one of understanding?

(Surah Al-Fajr 89:1–5)

When ALLAH ﷻ swears by something, it becomes extremely important and valuable, because ALLAH ﷻ is the Lord of everything and He may swear by whatever He wills. However, for people, it is not permissible to swear by anything other than Allah, His names, or His attributes. Rather, swearing by creations of ALLAH ﷻ is not allowed and is considered minor shirk.


ALLAH ﷻ swore by the ten nights, which according to the stronger opinion are either the last ten nights of Ramadan or the first ten nights of Dhul-Hijjah. These are nights that contain virtuous days, and within them occur acts of worship and deeds of nearness to ALLAH ﷻ that do not occur at other times.”


Ibn ‘Abbas رضي الله عنهما reported that
Rasoolullah ﷺ said:

“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”

The companions asked: “Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah?”

He ﷺ replied: “Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah, except for a man who goes out with his life and wealth and returns with neither.”

Sahih al-Bukhari (969)

People work hard, striving for years to build a house in this world. Some succeed, while others spend their entire lives trying and never achieve it.

Rasoolullah ﷺ taught us a simple way to build a home, not in this temporary world, but in Jannah.

Umm Habibah رضي الله عنها reported that Rasoolullah ﷺ said:

Whoever prays twelve rak‘ahs during the day and night (in addition to the obligatory prayers), a house will be built for him in Paradise.

These 12 rak‘ahs are:

• 2 before Fajr
• 4 before Dhuhr
• 2 after Dhuhr
• 2 after Maghrib
• 2 after Isha

(Sahih Muslim 728)

Imagine striving for a home that will last forever.

فإنَّ الله سبحانه إِذا أحبَّ عبدا استعمله في الأوقات الفاضلة بفواضل الأعمال، وإذا مقته استعمله في الأوقات الفاضلة بسيء الأعمال، ليكون ذلك أوجع في عقابه وأشد لمقته؛ لحرمانه بركة الوقت، وانتهاكه حرمة الوقت.

"Indeed, when Allah (Glorified be He) loves a servant, He employs them during virtuous times with the most virtuous of deeds. And when He detests a servant, He employs them during virtuous times with evil deeds, so that it may make their punishment more painful and His detestation more severe—due to them being deprived of the blessing of time, and for violating the sanctity of time."

اتقِ الله أنت في الأشهر الحرم.

"Fear Allah, for you are in the Sacred Months."

‘Do not let these days come and go like ordinary days. Perhaps this Dhul Hijjah will be the one that changes your relationship with the Quran forever.’

In this life, a person goes through three different situations:

1. Continuous blessings and gifts that Allah gives to him. These blessings require us to thank Allah for His kindness.

2. Hardships and trials that Allah decides and writes for him. A person must face these with patience, trusting that Allah will reward him and give him something better.

3. Sins and mistakes that he makes, and times when he falls short in his duties to Allah. These require him to turn back to Allah and ask for His forgiveness.

A Quote from Ibn al-Qayyim

Scholar Ibn al-Qayyim said:

"These three situations are the secret to a person's happiness and success in this life and the next. A person is always moving from one of these three situations to another."

الله أكبر الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله
الله أكبر الله أكبر ولله الحمد الله أكبر كبيرًا
الحمد لله كثيرًا وسبحان الله بكرةً وأصيلاً

إِذا كُنتَ في نِعمَةٍ فَاِرعَها
فَإِنَّ المَعاصي تُزيلُ النِعَم

If you are blessed with a bounty, then cherish and care for it,
For indeed, sins and transgressions strip blessings away.

وَحافِظ عَلَيها بِتَقوى الإِلَهِ
فَإِنَّ الإِلَهَ سَريعُ النِّقَم

And safeguard it through the mindfulness and fear of Allah,
For indeed, Allah can be swift in His punishment.

فَإِن تَعطِ نَفسَكَ آمالَها
فَعِندَ مُناها يَحِلُّ النَدَم

For if you grant your soul everything it desires,
Then at the fulfillment of its whims, regret will surely settle in.

اللهُ أكبر اللهُ أكبر اللهُ أكبر
لا إله إلّا الله
اللهُ أكبر اللهُ أكبر، ولله الحمد

سبحان الله، والحمدُ لله، ولا إله إلا اللهُ، واللهُ أكبرُ، ولا حولَ ولا قوةَ إلا بالله.

سبحان الله وبحمده، سبحان الله العظيم .
لا إله إلا أنت سبحانك إني كنت من الظالمين .
