Al-‘Abbās said: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, teach me something to ask Allah for.”
He said, “Ask Allah for well-being (‘āfiyah).”
I stayed for some days, then I came back and said, “O Messenger of Allah, teach me something to ask Allah for.”
He said to me, “O ‘Abbās! O uncle of the Messenger of Allah! Ask Allah for well-being in this world and the Hereafter.”
—Narrated by al-Tirmidhī in his Sunan
He said, “Ask Allah for well-being (‘āfiyah).”

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
A person’s lifetime is judged by its ending, and deeds are judged by their final outcomes. Whoever invalidates his ablution before completing the prayer, his prayer is invalid. Whoever breaks his fast before sunset, his fast is invalid. Likewise, whoever ends his life in sin will meet Allah in that state.

When you stand for Salah, do not see it as a burden. See it as an immense blessing. Feel it deeply، you are standing before the Creator of the universe, its true Owner and Sustainer.
He is the One who granted you existence when you were nothing, not even a thought or an imagination. He then gave you life, health, and strength, and made arrangements for your sustenance. And after death, it is to Him that you will return.
Allah is not in need of your worship; He is free of all needs and completely independent (ٱلْغَنيُّ) Yet, out of His mercy, He wants to grant you eternal comfort, peace, and Joyful life. He wants to give you Jannah.
Pray while carrying this awareness in your heart. And remember, when you say
“الحمد لله رب العالمين”
Allah Himself responds, “My servant has praised Me.” Pause and reflect، who is it that is responding to you? The King of All Kings. It is the One in whose hands lie all treasures of land and heaven, all goodness, and absolute dominion over everything. The decisions of everything come from Him, He runs the system of the universe.

Ja’far Ibn Sulayman رحمه الله said:
“Malik Ibn Dinar was one of the best memorisers of the Quran. He would recite a part of the Quran to us every day until he completed it.
If he missed a letter, he would say:
'بذنب مني، وما الله بظلام للعبيد'
‘This is due to a sin of mine, and Allah is not unjust to His servants.’”

Sufyan ath-Thawri رحمه الله Said:

Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what people’s hands have earned, so that Allah may make them taste the consequences of some of their deeds, so that perhaps they may return (to the right path).

Those who disobey Allah are the ones who spread corruption on the earth
The true reform of the heavens and the earth lies in the worship of Allah and obedience to Him.
There is a hadith;
[صحيح الترغيب | الصفحة أو الرقم : 2350]
This is because when a legal punishment is enforced, criminals are deterred from committing sins, and when sins decrease, the people are granted heavenly and earthly blessings.
Likewise, in the end times, when Isa ibn Maryam عليه السلام descends and judges according to the pure Shariah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ such as killing the swine, breaking the cross, and abolishing the jizyah, meaning that Islam will be accepted or else there will be war and when the Dajjal and his followers are destroyed and Ya’jooj and Ma’jooj are wiped out, the earth will then be commanded: “Bring forth your blessings.”
On that day, a single pomegranate will be sufficient for a large group of people, and it will be so large that they will be able to sit in its shade. The milk of one camel will suffice for an entire group of people.
All of these blessings will be the result of living according to the Shariah of Rasoolullah ﷺ.

The Validity of the Fast When Breaking It Out of Ignorance
Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn رحمه الله said:
“If a fasting person consumes something from these things that break the fast out of ignorance, then his fast is valid—whether he was ignorant of the time or ignorant of the ruling.
An example of ignorance of the time is when a man gets up at the end of the night and thinks that dawn has not yet broken, so he eats and drinks, then it becomes clear that dawn had already broken. His fast is valid because he was ignorant of the time.
An example of ignorance of the ruling is when a fasting person undergoes cupping (ḥijāmah) while not knowing that cupping breaks the fast. It is then said to him: your fast is valid.
The evidence for this is the statement of Allah تعالى:
“Our Lord, do not hold us accountable if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not place upon us a burden as You placed upon those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with that which we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so grant us victory over the disbelieving people.”
This is from the Qur’an.
And from the Sunnah is the hadith of Asmāʾ bint Abī Bakr رضي الله عنهما, narrated by al-Bukhārī in his Ṣaḥīḥ.
She said: “We broke our fast on a cloudy day during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, then the sun appeared.”Thus, they had broken their fast during the daytime, but they did not know; rather, they thought that the sun had set. The Prophet ﷺ did not order them to make up the fast. Had making it up been obligatory, he would have ordered them to do so, and had he ordered them, it would have been transmitted to us.”
(Majmūʿ al-Fatāwā, 19)

"Sadness, grief, pain, suffering, calamities, and trials are expiations for sins. Nothing afflicts a servant, not even a thorn prick, without it being an expiation for their sins.
If someone complains of a toothache or insomnia at night, these too are means of expiating sins.
If something afflicts you : do not say, 'If only I had done this or that.'
Instead, say,
قدر الله وما شاء فعل

Some of the spiritually aware have said:
“The elite are not touched by sorrow at all.”
And his (Ibn al-Qayyim’s) statement — may Allah have mercy on him —
“Knowing Allah: its light dispels every darkness, and its joy removes every distress” is speech of the highest beauty.
For whoever truly knows Allah will inevitably love Him, and whoever loves Him, the clouds of darkness are lifted from him.
Worries, grief, and sadness are removed from his heart, and his heart is filled with joy and happiness. Glad tidings and good news come to him from every direction. There is no sorrow when Allah is present — ever.
For this reason, Allah the Exalted said, narrating the words of His Prophet ﷺ when he said to his companion Abu Bakr:
“Do not grieve; indeed, Allah is with us.” (Qur’an 9:40)
This proves that there is no sorrow with Allah, and whoever has Allah with him — what place does sorrow have for him?
True sorrow — all sorrow — belongs only to the one who has lost Allah.
Whoever has gained Allah, over what could he grieve?
And whoever has lost Allah, over what could he rejoice?
Allah the Exalted says:
“Say: In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy — in that let them rejoice.” (Qur’an 10:58)
So rejoicing in His bounty and mercy is a result of rejoicing in Him, Glorified be He.
The believer rejoices in his Lord more than anyone else rejoices in what they love — whether it be a beloved person, life itself, wealth, blessings, or dominion.
The believer’s joy in his Lord surpasses all of that.
The heart does not attain true life until it tastes this joy and delight. Its happiness then appears in the heart and its radiance on the face, until the believer reaches a state resembling that of the people of Paradise, about whom Allah said that He met them with radiance and joy.

In the same way, a believer is shaken by trials and hardships, but he does not break.
And the example of a disbeliever is like a tall, hard tree, standing stiff and firm, until Allah breaks it suddenly when He wills.
