أفضلُ الصلواتِ عندَ اللهِ صلاةُ الصبحِ يومَ الجمعةِ في جماعةٍ
الراوي : عبدالله بن عمر | المحدث : الألباني | المصدر : صحيح الجامع
The best of prayers in the sight of Allah is the Fajr prayer on Friday, performed with Jama'ah.
Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta‘ala, has given superiority to some acts of worship over others, and the Prophet ﷺ has explained these virtues in their different forms. Among them is the preference of some prayers over others. This is what the Prophet ﷺ clarifies in this hadith when he says:
“The most excellent prayer in the sight of Allah,” meaning the one with the greatest reward and recompense, “is the Fajr prayer on the day of Friday when it is performed in congregation.”
This is because the Fajr prayer is the most virtuous of the five daily prayers, Friday is the most virtuous of all days, and praying in congregation is more virtuous than praying alone. This is an absolute virtue, which indicates that it is superior to every other obligatory prayer.
This hadith also shows that sometimes more than one reason comes together to make an act of worship superior.
And in it is a clear mention of the great virtue of performing the Fajr prayer with Jama'ah on the morning of Friday.

The last hour before Maghrib of Friday is a special time when du‘as are accepted, so never miss the chance to benefit from it.
Use this blessed moment to make du‘a for your worldly needs, for guidance and forgiveness, and for the well-being of the entire Ummah.
And please remember me as well in your du‘as.
The last hour of Jumu‘ah is a golden opportunity, don’t let it pass without raising your hands and turning to Allah.

Ibn Al-Qayyim Rahimahullah said:
If you notice within yourself that your time is being wasted without any benefit, then you need to pay attention to your heart. For this does not happen except because the heart has become more heedless of the remembrance of Allah.
The heart will never become completely sound until it is freed from five things:
1. From polytheism (shirk), which contradicts monotheism (Tawhid).
2. From religious innovations (bid'ah), which contradict the Sunnah.
3. From base desires (shahawat), which contradict the commands of Allah.
4. From heedlessness, which contradicts the remembrance of Allah.
5. From the desires of the soul, which contradict sincerity (ikhlās).
These five mentioned matters are barriers between a person and Allah, and each of them contains many other diseases whose number cannot be counted.

Imam Ibn al-Qayyim writes:
Absolute well-being (العافية) is freedom from disbelief, sin, disobedience, heedlessness, and turning away from Allah; as well as refraining from what displeases Him and acting upon everything that Allah loves.
This is true well-being. That is why nothing more beloved to Allah has ever been asked of Him than well-being, because this word includes deliverance from every evil and from its causes.
[Shifa' al-‘Alīl (1/364)]
اللهم إنا نسألك العافية في الدنيا والآخرة

The Salaf (the righteous predecessors) used to devote themselves to specific supplications that they persistently made throughout the month of Ramadan—during prostration, after the prayers, at the time of breaking the fast, and in the pre-dawn hours.
Ibn al-Jawzi (may Allah have mercy on him) described the month of Ramadan by saying:
“There is no supplication except that it is heard, no deed except that it is raised, no good except that it is gathered, and no harm except that it is repelled.”
اللَّهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِا لرمضان، وسلم رمضان لنا، وتسلمه منا مُتَقَبَّلاً…

Why Allah [سبحان و تعالي] answers du'a of a distressed person even if he is a kaffir?
Allah [سبحان و تعالي] says:
Or ask them, “Who responds to the distressed when they cry to Him, relieving their affliction, and Who makes you successors in the earth?
Allah [سبحان و تعالي] has guaranteed the answer to the du'a of the distressed when he calls upon Him, and He informed us of this about Himself.
The reason for this is that extreme necessity and desperation lead a person to true reliance and sincere turning to Allah alone.
cutting the heart off from all except Allah
Sincerity (ikhlās) is highly valued by Allah [سبحانه وتعالى] When it is genuine, Allah accepts it whether it comes from a believer or a disbeliever, a righteous person or a sinner.

The Qur’an is not tied to a specific age or time.
Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi, the Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque صلى الله عليه وسلم , memorized the Qur’an after the age of thirty, and Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Akhdar, the chief of the Qur’an reciters at the Prophet’s Mosque, also memorized the Qur’an after thirty.
Rely on Allah and do not give up—whoever persists and does not stop will surely reach their goal 🤍

Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) said:
"I swear by Allah; the One Who there is no deity worthy of worship other than Him, that the servant who wakes up in the morning as a believer and goes to sleep at night as a believer is not harmed by afflictions from this world."
Meaning: He realizes the greatest blessing he has is his faith, and this allows him to overcome all other difficulties in this world.

How to benefit from the month of Sha’ban?
- Repent to Allah for all of your sins, the small and the big, the persistent and the fleeting.
- Open your Mus’haf and begin a routine of having a daily portion of recitation.
- Make up your missed fasts, and use this month as a way to emulate the Prophet ﷺ as it has been authentically reported that he would fast frequently in the month of Sha’ban.
- Lower your gaze from that which causes your heart to lose focus of Allah. Lowering the gaze is not just restricted to the opposite gender but rather everything that creates temptation, distraction and lack of remembrance of the Creator.
- Seek forgiveness from your parents. Our parents have the greatest rights upon us after Allah, and no matter how much we try we will never be able to repay them in this life for what they have done for us, this meaning we will often fall short and can even fall into disobedience to them.
- Create a daily routine of Dhikr. Have a form of remembrance you are consistent upon repeating, and you will see great affects from this dhikr in your life. Whether it be istighfar, al-hawqalah etc.
- Enter this month with the mentality that the Shaytan will not continue to have control over your life any longer. Believe deep in your heart that Allah is the One who will take care of you, and firmly know and affirm that the One who protected and provided for you whilst you were in the depth of sin, will not abandon you under the wing of repentance.
May Allah allow us to reach Ramadan, repentant, humbly yearning for closeness to our Lord.

Allah has already informed us that
Shaitan is our open enemy. And Shaitan himself made a promise to Allah that he would mislead us from the front, from behind, from the right and from the left, and that he would sit on our path. He will continue to try to misguide us until our last breath, so that we do not die with iman
But he has no power over those who fear Allah, who read the Book of Allah, who have firm belief, and who act upon it.
Shaitan makes us grieve over the past, even though everything that happened was by the decree of Allah.
And he makes us fearful about the future, fear of poverty, fear of losing something very dear and beloved, even though whatever will happen is also by the will of Allah.
Allah has already made it clear that nothing happens by our will. It only happens if Allah wills.
What is in our control is
Effort
Patience (صبر)
Trust in Allah (توكل)
If we hold firmly to these three, Allah has promised us peace, comfort, and success in both this world and the Hereafter. And Allah never breaks His promise. His promise is always true.
So we must not listen to Shaitan.
Instead,
we should attach ourselves to
The Qur’an
The people of knowledge
The righteous and pious people
Because through them our iman remains strong and our path stays clear.

So seek out the hour on Friday with your supplications, and think well of your Lord — for the Most Generous does not turn away the one who asks him."

When you stand for Salah, do not see it as a burden. See it as an immense blessing. Feel it deeply، you are standing before the Creator of the universe, its true Owner and Sustainer.
He is the One who granted you existence when you were nothing, not even a thought or an imagination. He then gave you life, health, and strength, and made arrangements for your sustenance. And after death, it is to Him that you will return.
Allah is not in need of your worship; He is free of all needs and completely independent (ٱلْغَنيُّ) Yet, out of His mercy, He wants to grant you eternal comfort, peace, and Joyful life. He wants to give you Jannah.
Pray while carrying this awareness in your heart. And remember, when you say
“الحمد لله رب العالمين”
Allah Himself responds, “My servant has praised Me.” Pause and reflect، who is it that is responding to you? The King of All Kings. It is the One in whose hands lie all treasures of land and heaven, all goodness, and absolute dominion over everything. The decisions of everything come from Him, He runs the system of the universe.
