Why has finding a spouse become a myth nowadays?

Brothers stop seeking perfection
Sisters stop seeking perfection

Brothers read the biography of the best man to ever walk upon this world Muhammed (صلى الله عليه وسلم) make him be your role model and no one else!

Sisters read the biographies of the sahabiyaat and the daughters and wives of the Prophet Muhammed aleyhi salam, make them be your role models and not society and what it teaches!

Let's just switch off the phones, social media (Tiktok, IG, Snap, Facebook, YouTube and anything else) let's learn about our religion.

Let us be sincere more, your future husband or wife should not be compared anyone else before you even go to meet them in the meetings. That is a big trend nowadays, Sisters see someone online who has a following and they want their future husband to be like that etc. Judge the person in front of your for who he is and put him on the scale of Islam not others on social media.

Does he fear Allah?
Does he pray 5 times a day?
Is he well mannered and kind to his mother and sisters?
Does he work?
Is he upright?
Is he responsible?
Is he mature?
Is he a man or still a boy?
Is he sincere and genuine?
Is he fit to be the father of your children?

You can't do the above without the help of your father or other walee! A man can suss another man out, you can't unfortunately!

Brothers: stop comparing her to the billboards your see and the women caked up in ice cream on the screens. Judge her for who she is and no one else.

Does she pray 5 times a day?
Is she well mannered?
Is she obedient to her parents?
Does she have shyness?
Is she willing to settle down and raise a family with your support?
Is she fit to be the mother of your children?

It is so simple but we have made it rocket science!

May Allah make it easy and grant us all a righteous spouse and bless us all with righteous offsprings!

This ayah fills a good-doer with hope and encourages them to grow in goodness.

"Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good."

Allah has specifically mentioned the people of Ihsan (those who do good) as being close to His mercy. This is because it is Allah’s favor and kindness — and He is, in essence, the Most Merciful of the merciful. Allah's special mercy is reserved for the people of Ihsan, since recompense is of the same nature as the action. That is, the type of reward corresponds to the type of deed performed. So, the more a person acts with Ihsan in their deeds, the more Allah showers His mercy and kindness upon them in return.

يقول كيف يتأهب المسلم لقدوم شهر ذي الحجة؟
He says: “How should a Muslim prepare for the arrival of the month of Dhul-Hijjah?”

أولا: يعلم أن شهر ذي الحجة من الأشهر الحرم.
Firstly: he should know that the month of Dhul-Hijjah is amongst the sacred months.

ثانيا: يجدد التوبة.
Secondly: he should renew his repentance.

ثالثا: يعزم على ترتيب الأوقات في العشر من ذي الحجة.
Thirdly: he should be determined to organize his time in the (first) 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah.

رابعا: يعزم على صوم ما يقدر.
Fourthly: he should be determined to fast what he is able to (fast).

خامسا: يجتهد على الذكر في هذه الأيام ويتخلص من المظالم.
Fifthly: he should strive in the remembrance (of Allah) in these days and seek atonement for wrongdoings.

The best days.

A'rafa is approaching, prepare your wishes, organize your dua' , and seek with a certain heart, the one who created A'rafa and made it as the best of the days, and made it's fast as a means of forgiveness of the sins of the previous and the coming year, Would never turn away the dua on it.
Prepare yourselves for goodness approach with its arrival, and it is the goodness we have been waiting for from year to year.

ذنوبي إن فكرت فيها كثيرة
My sins, if I think of them, are many,

ورحمة ربي من ذنوبي أوسع
But my Lord's mercy is vaster than my sins.

وما طمعي في صالح قد عملته
And it is not that I rely on any good I have done,

ولكنني في رحمة الله أطمع
Rather, it is in the mercy of Allah that I place my hope.

{ وَلَقَدْ يَسَّرْنَا الْقُرْآنَ لِلذِّكْرِ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ }
"And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?"

يقول ابن القيم رحمه الله :
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

وتيسيره للذكر ، يتضمن أنواعاً من التيسير :
Its being made easy for remembrance includes several types of ease:

إحداها : تيسير ألفاظه للحفظ
1. The ease of its words for memorization

الثاني : تيسير معانيه للفهم
2. The ease of its meanings for understanding

الثالث : تيسير أوامره ونواهيه للإمتثال
3. The ease of its commandments and prohibitions for compliance

With the passing of every minute, feel that you are in the best of the days of the world, in the great days in the sight of Allah and it's rewards would be multiplied in the scale of your deeds, even if you are in the midst of your preoccupation do not be neglectful of rememberance for it is from the easiest, the quickest and the most benefiting ways of seeking nearness to Allah specially in these blessed days, By Allah no one has any excuse for it.

Ten Abundant Days | A Reflection to Awaken Resolve

To every heart sorrowful over falling short in Ramadan,
To every soul that treasures seasons of grace and their generous embrace:

Before you now are days that are the best of all days in this world,
Days where the weight of deeds is unlike any other time…

How could it not be so, when Allah Himself swore by them—granting them honor and virtue—saying:

“By the dawn, and by the ten nights”(Al-Fajr: 1-2).

So rise to meet them, and show Allah the best of yourself.

By Allah, each minute in these days is precious and priceless—if only we truly understood!

Seek strength from Allah and do not despair:

~ Strive to complete a recitation of the Qur’an,
~ Give charity from your wealth,
~ Place water bowls for the birds,
~ Double your kindness to your parents,
~ Share knowledge,
~ Keep your tongue busy with remembrance,
~ Heal your heart—wounded by the burdens of sin and worry—
~ And keep the Takbeer (glorification of Allah) close to your lips and frequent.

Wander through the gardens of worship in all its forms, as much as you are able.
This is a time when deeds carry multiplied reward.
Race forward…
That perhaps your heart will emerge quenched and radiant,
And that you may exit these days wrapped in mercy and overflowing with reward.❤️
