من أعظم أبواب الخير: الدلالة على الخير، فتعطَى مثل أجر فاعله، قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من دعا إلى هدى كان له من الأجر مثل أجور من تبعه لا يُنقص ذلك من أجورهم شيئاً.

One of the greatest doors to goodness is guiding others to it, for you will be given a reward equal to that of the one who acts upon it. The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward like the rewards of those who follow him, without that diminishing their rewards in the least.”

يا لفرحتك ويا لسعادتك يوم أن تأتي يوم القيامة، وترى أناسا قد اهتدوا وصلحت قلوبهم بسبب كتاب نافع دللتهم عليه فقرؤوه، أو مادة صوتية أو مرئية نافعة دللتهم عليها فانتفعوا بها.

How joyful and happy you will be on the Day of Judgment when you see people who were guided and whose hearts were reformed because of a beneficial book you pointed them to and they read it, or an audio or visual resource you recommended and they benefited from it.

إني لا أحصي من يخبرني أنه انتفع من أحد كتبي وأثر عليه بسبب نصيحة من أحد من الناس، أو لنشره خبرَ صدور كتاب لي.

I cannot count how many people have told me that they benefited from one of my books and were influenced by it because someone advised them about it or shared the news of its release.

نسأل الله أن يجعلنا ممن ينشر الخير والعلم النافع ويدل الناس عليه.

We ask Allah to make us among those who spread goodness and beneficial knowledge and guide others to it.

لا تخافي ولا تحزني

Why does Allah keep telling women in the Qur’an: “Do not be sad?"
Look closely…
These are not just random verses. These are divine hugs wrapped in words.

In Surah Al-Qasas:
"So that her eyes may be comforted and she may not grieve."(28:13)

In Surah Al-Ahzab:
"That their eyes may be comforted and they may not grieve.(33:51)

In Surah Maryam:
"Do not grieve."(19:24)

And again in Surah Al-Qasas:
"Do not fear and do not grieve."
(28:7)

Again and again…
Do not grieve. Do not be sad. Do not fear.
Why?

"Because your sadness is not small in the sight of your Lord."

Sadness in a woman isn't just an emotion—
It's a storm that shakes her soul,
affects her health,
weakens her body,
disturbs her sleep,
and sometimes breaks her spirit.

It can dim the sparkle in her eyes
and steal the strength from her heart.

And Allah—Ar-Rahman—knows this.

That’s why He speaks so gently to women in the Qur'an.
That’s why He says:
"Don’t grieve."
"Don’t be afraid."
"Let your eyes find peace."

Because He knows…

A woman’s sadness doesn’t stay in her tears.
It travels—
To her heartbeat,
To her womb,
To her hormones,
To her skin,
To her smile.

Allah doesn’t just protect her body.
He protects her emotions, her dignity, her peace.

That’s why even regarding mothers, He says:
"Don’t even say uff to them."
(Qur’an 17:23)

Because words hurt.
And her heart is delicate.
But her worth is monumental.

So if you’re a woman reading this—
With a storm inside your chest,
With eyes that cry silently at night—
Know this:

Your sadness matters to Allah.
Your tears are seen.
Your pain is recorded.
And your healing is written.

He repeats it not for Himself—
But so you remember:
You are not alone.

"Do not be sad."

May Allah heal every broken heart,
especially the hearts that break in silence. Ameen❤️

ساعة واحدة بتركيز خير من عدة ساعات بلا تركيز.. احرص في طلب العلم على الأوقات التي يكون فيها الذهن صافياً، والبال خالياً؛ حتى تركز في الطلب، وتحصل من العلم.. فإن التركيز في العلم يعني الاستمرار فيه والانتفاع، وعدمه يعني اليأس منه والانقطاع.. والعاقل مَنْ يسايس نفسه؛ لتقبل، لا لتنفر!

One focused hour is better than several hours without focus. Be keen to seek knowledge during times when your mind is clear and your heart is free, so you can focus and truly gain from it. For focus in seeking knowledge leads to consistency and benefit, while its absence leads to despair and quitting. The wise person is one who manages their soul to help it accept, not to make it repel.

The thief that has prevented us from so much Khair

The thief that not only steals, but does so everyday

Oh Allah put barakah in our time, give us mental clarity and peace of mind

And protect us from the many many many trials of this thief. 🤲

آمين يا رب العالمين

Asad bin al-Furāt, [may Allāh have mercy on him], said:

“Never did I take leave of Ibn al-Qāsim except that he would say to me:

‘I counsel you with three things:

1. Fear Allāh,
2. Remain devoted to the Qur’ān,
3. And spread knowledge [far and wide].’”

Tartīb ul-Madārik, 1/609 | Abul-Fadl Qādi Iyādh, [may Allāh have mercy on him]

Simple recitations that highlight the meanings of the Quran without being excessive are best.

My previous ustadh had mentioned once that it’s glaringly obvious when someone has studied maqaamat from their recitation & wallahi it’s true.

There’s no better beautification of one’s voice than tajweed and understanding of that which one recites.

From the hadeeth of Jabir رضي الله عنه، that the Prophet ﷺ said:

"‏إِنَّ مِنْ أَحْسَنِ النَّاسِ صَوْتًا بِالْقُرْآنِ، الَّذِي إِذَا سَمِعْتُمُوهُ يَقْرَأُ، حَسِبْتُمُوهُ يَخْشَى اللَّهَ‏"‏.

‘Among the people who recite the Quran with the most beautiful voices is the man who, when you hear him, you think that he fears Allah.’

[Sunan Ibn Majah 1339]

The ayaat, The recitation, The khushu'😍

Chapter regarding the ways that bring about love for Allah and make it grow — and there are ten of them:

1. Reading the Qur’an thoughtfully and trying to understand its meanings and messages — like how someone studies a letter from a close friend to grasp what they’re really trying to say.

2. Getting closer to Allah by doing extra (voluntary) acts of worship after performing the faraidh. These extra acts help a person move from simply loving Allah to being loved by Him.

3. Always remembering Allah — with your words, your heart, your actions, and your inner state. How much you love Him depends on how much you remember Him.

4. Choosing what Allah loves over what you want, especially when desires are strong. And aiming for what pleases Him, even if it’s difficult.

5. Thinking deeply about Allah’s names and qualities, and learning about who He is. Moving your heart through the gardens of this knowledge. Anyone who truly knows Allah through His names, actions, and attributes will naturally love Him. That’s why those who deny or distort His names and attributes block people from reaching that love.

6. Noticing how kind and generous Allah has been to you — all His blessings, both the obvious and the hidden — because this naturally draws your heart to love Him.

7. One of the most powerful reasons: when your heart feels totally humble and broken in front of Him. This is a deep feeling that words can’t fully explain.

8. Spending time alone with Allah, especially during the last part of the night when He "descends" (as mentioned in Hadith) — to talk to Him, recite His words al Qur'an, and stand before Him with respect and humility. Then ending that time with asking for forgiveness and turning back to Him.

9. Being around people who truly love Allah, and picking up the best and most beautiful things from their words and actions — like picking the best fruits. Only speak when you know it’s beneficial, and that it will help you or others.

10. Staying away from anything that could come between your heart and Allah.

Through these ten things, those who love Allah reach higher levels of love and closeness to Him. And at the heart of all this are two key things: a heart that’s ready for this journey, and eyes that can see with insight.

لا تقنطَنّ إذا مـا شِدّةٌ عرَضــت
‏أو غُمّةٌ في ثنايـَا الصــــدرِ تعتَلِجُ
Do not despair when hardship comes your way,
Or when distress stirs deep within your chest.

‏سيُرسلُ اللَّهُ ما تحيَا النفوسُ بِـهِ
‏ والصبحُ عمّا قريبٍ سوفَ ينبلِجُ
Allah will send what brings the soul to life,
And soon, the dawn will break and end the night.

‏ما عسعسَ اليأسُ مزهُوًّا بظُلمتهِ
‏ إلّا تنفّسَ في أعقابهِ الفـــــرَجُ»
No matter how proud despair may grow in its darkness,
Relief will surely follow close behind.

Farwah b. Nawfal said,

"I was a neighbour of Khabbāb, may Allah be pleased with him, so we went to the masjid and he took hold of my hand and said,

"Gain closeness to Allah with whatever you are able to do, for indeed you will not gain closeness through something more beloved to Allah than His own Speech"
(Shu'ab al-Iman)

Ibn 'Abbās , may Allah be pleased with them both, said,

"Allah has guaranteed the one who follows the Qur'an that he will not become misguided in this world nor suffer in the next life" he then recited:

{so whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray nor suffer}

- al-Musannaf (7/136)

قال رسول الله ﷺ:
«إنَّ في الجُمعةِ ساعةً لا يوافقها رجلٌ مسلمٌ قائمٌ يصلي يسألُ الله فيها خيرًا إلا أعطاه، وقلّلها بيده»
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Indeed, on Friday there is an hour in which a Muslim man, while standing in prayer, asking Allah for good — he will not be denied; it will be granted to him," and he gestured with his hand to show how short that time is.

يومٌ عظيم أمامكم، فأفيضوا بأمانيكم لله، وألِحّوا عليه، واطلبوا من خيري الدنيا والآخرة.
A great day lies ahead of you, so pour out your wishes to Allah, be persistent in your supplications, and ask for the best of this world and the Hereafter.

وإن مررتم هنا أو خَطَرتُ ببالكم، فهناك أمرٌ أهمّني، دعواتكم بأن يتيسر ويتمّ..
And if you pass by here or I happen to cross your mind, know that something important is weighing on me — I ask for your du‘a that it be made easy and completed.

«والله أعلى وأجل، والله أعلى وأجل، والله أعلى وأجل»

"By Allah, He is the Most High and the Most Glorious. By Allah, He is the Most High and the Most Glorious. By Allah, He is the Most High and the Most Glorious."

وفيه أيضا يقول الله:
(يا ابن آدم قم إلي أمشِ إليك، وامشِ إلي أهرول إليك).

And also in it , Allah says:
"O son of Adam, stand up and come to Me, and I will walk to you; walk to Me, and I will run to you."

من أقبل إلينا تلقيناه من بعيد، ومن أراد مرادنا أردنا ما يريد.

Whoever comes toward Us, We receive him from afar; and whoever desires what We desire, We desire what he desires.

ومن سألنا أعطيناه فوق المزيد، ومن عمل بقوتنا نالَه الحديد.

Whoever asks Us, We give him more than abundance; and whoever acts through Our strength, he attains even the iron (i.e., the impossible).

يا هذا، لو أنك قصدت باب والي الشرطة، لما أقبل إليك ولا تلقاك، وربما حجبك عن الوصول إليه وأقصاك،

O you, if you had gone to the gate of the police chief, he wouldn’t come to you nor meet you, and he might even block you from reaching him and drive you away

وملك الملوك يقول: "من أتاني يمشي أتيته هرولة"

Yet the King of Kings says: “Whoever comes to Me walking, I come to him running.”

وأنت عنه معرض، وعلى غيره مقبل، لقد غُبِنت أفحش الغبن وخسرت أكبر الخسران.

And yet you turn away from Him and approach others—truly, you have been deceived with the worst of deceptions and suffered the greatest of losses.

A Strange Story!

Shaykh Sulaymān al-Ruḥaylī – may Allah preserve him – said:

The scholars mention that a man once wanted to drink from a well, but his foot slipped and he fell in. Some people heard his groaning, pulled him out, and gave him some milk, which he drank.
One of them asked,
'How did you fall?'
The man replied, 'I stood here,' and as he showed the spot, he fell into the well and died.

What remained of his provision was that milk – he had come out to drink it – and what remained of his life was that brief time. He slipped the same slip and died.

No one can reduce your provision, and no one can increase it – no matter how skilled they are. But we still take the lawful means without becoming attached to them.

شرح الوصية الصغرى (117)

"He leaves you powerless before the problem… then leaves you in awe with the solution — the Omnipotent, the All-Capable, the Supreme in Power"

May it be accepted on the Arafah, and may we be healed on the Arafah.
