The woman whose husband wanted to leave her and her son alone in a barren valley with nothing but a water pouch said to him: Did Allah command you to do this?’
When he said yes, she replied: ‘Then go, for Allah will not forsake us!’

She is the one who raised the boy who said to his father when he intended to sacrifice him: ‘O my father, do as you are commanded!’

The lesson:
We choose our children when we choose their mothers!'

Sincerity of the intention is a reason for the tranquility of the heart, the relief of distress, and the fulfillment of goals.

ففي قوله تعالى : {فعَلِم مَا فِي قُلُوبِهم فَأنْزَلَ السّكِينة عَلِيهِمْ وَأثابَهم فتحًا قريبًا}

As in His saying, the Exalted:
"So He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down tranquility upon them and rewarded them with a near victory."
(Surah Al-Fath, 48:18)
It is not permitted to bring up the past of a person who regrets it and has repented and given up his sin; rather, this should be covered up. Whoever covers up his Muslim brother in this world, Allaah will cover him up in the Hereafter.

(A saheeh hadeeth reported by Imaam Ahmad; Saheeh al-Jaami, 6287)

When the world gets constricted for you, Turn towards Salah, this is what Rasulullah sallahu alayhi wassalm taught us.

He said to bilal Radi Allahu anhu:
"Give us comfort with the prayer oh bilal."

Benefits from the Hadith :
Relief of the heart comes with prayer, as it involves intimate communication with Allah Almighty.
Expressing disapproval of he who is sluggish in performing acts of worship.
If a person fulfills his duty and absolves himself of the liability, he will get a feeling of relief and reassurance as a result of that.

Raise your hand and ask your Rab!!!!

"Let those who see you know that there is Qur'an within you."
If Allah knows [any] good in your hearts, He will give you something better than what was taken from you and will forgive you. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”

This is a healing support for every heart that thought loss was the end—only to discover it was a doorway to greater goodness, deeper mercy, and unexpected blessings.

What is with Allah is better and everlasting. Even if the replacement is delayed or comes in a different form, when it arrives, it makes one forget the bitterness of loss and fills the heart with blooming certainty.
Life doesn't always go the way we plan. We might face rejection after applying for a job, experience a sudden change in our plans, or see a close friendship drift apart. In those moments, it's easy to feel disappointed or even heartbroken. But have we ever thought that perhaps these setbacks are actually for our own good?

In the Qur'an, Allaah reminds us,
"But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allaah Knows, while you do not know." (2:216)

This verse reassures us that Allaah's wisdom is far greater than ours. What seems like a loss today could be a blessing in disguise. When a door closes on something we deeply desire, it's natural to feel sad. But let's not get stuck staring at that closed door. Instead, let's take a moment to look around.

Often, when Allaah takes something away, He is preparing us for something better, something that we might not have even imagined. So, if you're feeling down about a missed opportunity or a lost chance, remember that Allaah knows what's best for you. He might be protecting you from something harmful or guiding you towards something far greater. Trust that He has a plan, even if you can't see it right now. Take a deep breath, lift your eyes from that closed door, and trust that new ones are opening, ones that will lead you to something beautiful, something that's meant just for you.

Fifty Proven Supplications from Our Prophet
It is astonishing how persistent you are in seeking your worldly desires, and the more they are delayed, the more persistent you become.

And you forget that your prayer may be withheld for one of two reasons:
Either for your own good—perhaps what you seek would bring harm if granted too soon,
Or because of your sins, for the one burdened with sins is far from being answered.

So purify the path to answered prayers from the filth of disobedience,
and reflect on what you are asking for—is it to better your faith, or merely to satisfy your desires?

If it is merely driven by whims, then know that it is out of kindness and mercy that it is being withheld. You are like a child crying for what would harm him, so he is withheld gently for his own good. But if what you seek is for the righteousness of your religion, perhaps the delay is still in your best interest—or perhaps not granting it at all is better for your faith.

In short, Allah’s management of your affairs is better than your own. He may withhold what you desire as a test, to see your patience—so show beautiful patience, and soon you will witness what delights you.

And when the path to being answered has been purified from the stains of sin, and you remain patient with what He decrees for you—then whatever happens will be for your good, whether it is through giving or withholding.

‘Seek your Lord’s forgiveness, ˹for˺ He is truly Most Forgiving.

"Perhaps a single supplication one of us makes with a present heart during an hour of acceptance may relieve a worry, remove a hardship, bring down a blessing, or avert harm. So seek out the hour on Friday with your supplications, and think well of your Lord — for the Most Generous does not turn away the one who asks him."

Why are we not affected by the Qur'an?

"The voice which fears Allah, when recites the Qur'an in a correct way, declaring it out loud, the usual result is the guidance from Allah."
