Study Tip #10: The Blessings After Fajr

قال رَسول اللَّه صلى اللَّه عليه وسلم اللهم بارك لأمتي في بكورها
The Messenger ﷺ said “O Allah, bless my nation in their early morning.”

If you have a busy day and find it hard to study, prioritise sleeping early and staying awake after fajr. Utilise that time to get the task you find hardest done.

Seeking knowledge requires sacrifice and discomfort, you won’t achieve high aspirations if you do not give up a portion of your comfort.

It may seem hard at first to stay awake, but once you adjust to the routine, you’ll find it to be a beneficial use of time in sha Allaah.

As a student of knowledge, this is one of the bare minimums you should be able to commit to.

عليك بالدعاء فانه مفتاح كل خير !!

Upon you is Dua'a for it is the key to every goodness.

إني أجاهد بالدعاء بحرقه
"I strive with Dua'a passionately,

و بداخلي ظن بربي لا يخيب
And within me is a faith in my Lord that never disappoints."

إن لم تحفظ أنت القرآن، فمن سيحفظ ؟
If you don't memorize the Quran, who will?

وإن لم تكن سببا في تكريم أبويك ورفع درجاتهما عند الله، فمن سيتولى هذه المهمة؟
If you aren't a reason for your parents' honor and elevation in front of Allah, who will take on this task?

وإن لم تكن قدوةً عمليّةً لأبنائك في صحبة هذا الكتاب العظيم الآن، فمتى؟
If you aren't setting a practical example for your children by accompanying this great book now, then when?

قل لي بربك .. متى سيكون حفظ القرآن من أولى أولوياتك ؟!

Tell me, please... when will memorizing the Quran become your top priority?!

اللهم اجعل القرآن حجة لنا ولا تجعله حجة علينا.
اللهم اجعلنا ممن يقرؤه فيرقى ولا تجعلنا ممن يقرؤه فيزل ويشقى.
اللـهم ذكرنـا مـنـه ما نَسيـنا وعلمنا منه ما جهـلنا يارب العالمين

"سيأتي يوماً تتعجّب فيه، كيف أنّ الله قد جمعك بعد كل هذا العُسر والانغلاق بمطلبك وبكُل سهولة، ستتعجّب كيف أنّ المستحيل تيسّر وتحقق بأصغر التفاصيل التي رجوتها وستكون من الذين جبرهم الله قريباً ، وستندهش بما سيُعطيك بحول الله وقوته وعظمته وتدبيره"✨.

"A day will come when you’ll be amazed at how Allah, after all the hardship and closed doors, brought you what you longed for so effortlessly. You’ll wonder how the impossible became easy and came true in the smallest of details you had hoped for. You will be among those whom Allah has uplifted soon, and you will be astonished by what He grants you—by His will, His power, His greatness, and His perfect plan."

‏"الموقن بتدبير الله؛ يرى أنّ المكروهات أسباب تقوده إلى طلائع الفرج من حيث لا يحتسب، والعبد إذا رُزق البصيرة استراح من وطأة الأقدار بحسن تدبير الله، واستراح لأنّ الله يعلم وهو لا يعلم، واطمئنّ بالمكروهات كما يطمئن بالمحبوبات، وقد جرت سنّة الله في الأرض أنّ الشدائد بتراء لا دوام لها".


"One who is certain of Allah's planning sees that disliked matters are actually ways leading to the early signs of relief from where he does not expect. When a servant is granted insight, he finds peace from the burden of fate through the beauty of Allah's management. He rests because Allah knows while he does not, and he becomes as content with hardships as he is with blessings. It is Allah's way on earth that difficulties are incomplete and do not last forever."

‏المرأة التي أراد زوجُها أن يتركها وابنها وحيدين في وادٍ غير ذي زرعٍ ليس معهما إلا قربة ماء فقالتْ له : آلله أمرك؟ إذًا اذهب فلن يُضيّعنا الله!

The woman whose husband wanted to leave her and her son alone in a barren valley with nothing but a water pouch said to him: ‘Did Allah command you to do this?’
When he said yes, she replied: ‘Then go, for Allah will not forsake us!’

هي التي ربَّتْ الولد الذي قال لأبيه عندما أراد ذبحه :‏"يا أبتِ افعلْ ما تُؤمر" !

She is the one who raised the boy who said to his father when he intended to sacrifice him: ‘O my father, do as you are commanded!’

الدرس:
‏"نحن نختار أبناءنا عندما نختار أمهاتهم !"

The lesson:
‘We choose our children when we choose their mothers!'

‏صدق النيّة سبب لطمأنينة القلب وتفريج الكروب وتحقيق الغايات،

Sincerity of the intention is a reason for the tranquility of the heart, the relief of distress, and the fulfillment of goals.

ففي قوله تعالى : {فعَلِم مَا فِي قُلُوبِهم فَأنْزَلَ السّكِينة عَلِيهِمْ وَأثابَهم فتحًا قريبًا}

As in His saying, the Exalted:
"So He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down tranquility upon them and rewarded them with a near victory."
(Surah Al-Fath, 48:18)

It is not permitted to bring up the past of a person who regrets it and has repented and given up his sin; rather, this should be covered up. Whoever covers up his Muslim brother in this world, Allaah will cover him up in the Hereafter.

(A saheeh hadeeth reported by Imaam Ahmad; Saheeh al-Jaami, 6287)

When the world gets constricted for you, Turn towards Salah, this is what Rasulullah sallahu alayhi wassalm taught us.

He said to bilal Radi Allahu anhu: ارحنا بالصلاة
"Give us comfort with the prayer oh bilal."

Benefits from the Hadith :
Relief of the heart comes with prayer, as it involves intimate communication with Allah Almighty.
Expressing disapproval of he who is sluggish in performing acts of worship.
If a person fulfills his duty and absolves himself of the liability, he will get a feeling of relief and reassurance as a result of that.

"اجعل مَن يراكِ يعلم أنَّ فيكِ قُرآنًـــا"

"Let those who see you know that there is Qur'an within you."

اللهم كره إلينا الموسيقى والغيبة والبهتان وحبب إلينا القرآن واجعلنا من الراشدين.

اللهم حبب إلينا الإيمان وزينه في قلوبنا وكره إلينا الكفر والفسوق والعصيان واجعلنا من الراشدين..
