لو ضيعت العشرين الأولى
If you wasted the previous 20 days,

أبشرك،
glad tidings to you;

الله بلغك عشر هي خير العشر.
as Allah has allowed you to reach the best ten nights of the year.

القادم من رمضان أفضل من الماضي،
The upcoming days of Ramadan are better than the past days of it,

فلا تظلم نفسك.
so don’t oppress yourself (by wasting these as well).

He صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "When a man prays with the Imam until he finishes, it is written for him as if he spent the entire night in prayer."

This was authenticated by Al-Albani in "Sahih al-Nasa'i."

The Taraweeh prayer with the Imam may not last for a full hour, but it will be recorded for you as the reward of standing in prayer for a whole night, which is eight or nine hours. All of this will be recorded for you as a blessing and favor from Allah.

You go to sleep in your bed until Fajr, and yet it is written for you as if you spent the night in prayer.

Do not deprive yourself of this great act of worship. Praying Taraweeh in the mosques with the congregation is in accordance with the established Sunnah, as reported from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).

لا تكسل عن الدعاء، فإن شهرك الذي تقضيه شهر إجابة الدعوات
Do not be lazy for dua, for this month is ordained as the month of the response of prayers..

وتحقق الأمنيات،
and the reality of your wishes,

ألا ترى أن آية إجابة الدعاء في سورة البقرة جاء قبلها الإشارة إلى شهر رمضان،
Have you not seen that the verse of response of dua in surah baqarah and
Before it comes verses which indicates the month of ramadan

وبعدها الإشارة إلى ليل رمضان،
and after it the verse indicates the night of ramadan

"وإذا سألك عبادي عني فإني قريب أجيب دعوة الداع إذا دعان."
"and when my servant asks regarding me then I'm near, I respond to the caller when he calls upon me."

"والمحروم من يحرمه.."

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

”If the Night of Qadr was some night during the entire year, I’d stand in night prayer the entire year to get it. So what do you suppose should be done for merely ten nights?.”

وقال ابن مسعود: "من أحب القرآن فهو يحب الله ورسوله"

Ibn Masood said:
"Whoever loves Qur'an, loves Allah and his messenger."
 (رواه الطبراني)

قال الحافظ ابن رجب - رحمه الله -: «ومن أعظم ما يُتَقَرَّب به إلى الله تعالى من النوافل كثرة تلاوة القرآن، وسماعه بتفكُّر وتدبر وتَفَهُّم؛ 
قال خَبَّاب بن الأرت لرجل: تقرب إلى الله ما استطعت، واعلم أنك لن تتقرب إليه بشيء هو أحبُّ إليه من كلامه»

Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said:
"And from the greatest ways to be closer to Allah from the voluntary acts is the abundance of the recitation of quran, and listening to it with contemplation and understanding."

Khabbab bin at said to a man:
"Draw near to Allah as you're capable of and know that you would never be closer to him more than anything which is dearer to him than his words."

«العبادة المستحبة في ليلة القدر هي قيام تلك الليلة.
The recommended act of worship on Laylat al-Qadr is to spend the night in prayer.

‏وإنما يكون قيامها بإطالة الصلاة، وكثرة قراءة القرآن في أثناء تلك الصلاة.
This is achieved by prolonging the prayer and increasing the recitation of the Qur'an during it.

‏وأمّا ما عدا ذلك من الأعمال فهو دون مرتبة الصلاة،
As for other acts of worship, they are considered less significant than prayer.

نعم يُشرع للعبد إذا قام تلك الليلة بالصلاة، وقراءة القرآن أن يدعو ربّه -عزّ وجلّ- فإنه على رجاءِ إجابة.»
However, it is encouraged for a servant who stands in prayer and recites the Qur'an on that night to supplicate to their Lord, for He is the One who answers prayers.

القرآنُ كلامُ اللهِ، وتنعُّمُ القلوبِ والأسماعِ والأبصارِ به في رمضانَ سِرُّ طُمأنينتِها، ومِفتاحُ راحتِها، فلَعَمري إنَّ رمضانَ شهرُ القرآن، ومَن شَغَلَ جوارحَه بغيرِه لحِقتْه حَسرةٌ، واعترتْه نَدامةٌ.

The Quran is the word of Allah, and the pleasure of the hearts, ears, and eyes in Ramadan, which is the secret to their peace and the key to their comfort. Indeed, Ramadan is the month of the Quran, and whoever occupies their limbs with something other than it will be overtaken by sorrow and filled with regret.

Ibn al-Qayyim reported:

"فيها يفرق كل أمر حكيم "
"On that night, every precise matter is made distinct" (Quran 44:4)

The decrees for the entire year are inscribed on Laylat al-Qadr. Everything that will happen in the coming year relating to sustenance, marriage, and rainfall, down to the names of the pilgrims. Even life and death - You may see a man strolling through shops, unaware that his name has already been inscribed among the dead.

Bada'i' al-Tafsir - Tafsir Ibn al-Qayyim (Qur'an 44:4)

Marriage, wealth, health, Hajj, death, food, clothing - everything.

On Laylat al-Qadr, the decrees for the coming year are transferred from al-Lawh al-Mahfooz.

"A man once asked al-Hasan while I was listening,

"Is Laylat al-Qadr in every Ramadan?"

He replied,

'Yes, by Allah, besides whom there is no god, it is in every Ramadan. On Laylat al-Qadr, every wise matter is decreed. Allah determines every lifespan, deed, and provision until the next Laylat al-Qadr.'"

مَنْ ظنَّ أنَّ الله لا يُكرمه بدعائه وطول مُناجاته وافتقاره إليه فقد أساء الظنَّ بالله؛ فما وفقك سبحانه للدعاء وأقبل بقلبك عليه وعلَّق روحك بمُناجاته إلاَّ وهو الكريم يُريد بك خيراً حتى لو تأخَّرت عنك الإجابة وطال انتظارك للفرَج

Whoever thinks that Allah will not honor him through his supplication, prolonged conversations with Him, and his need for Him, has wronged his perception of Allah. It is only by His grace that He has guided you to pray, turned your heart towards Him, and connected your soul to His supplication. He is the Generous, desiring good for you, even if the answer is delayed and your wait for relief is prolonged.

يَقَولَ ابْنُ حَجَرٍ فِي (فَتْحِ البَارِي)، فِي شَرْحِ حَدِيثِ مُدَارَسَةِ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ: ((الْمَقْصُودُ مِنَ التَّلَاوَةِ الْحُضُورُ وَالْفَهْمُ، لِأَنَّ اللَّيْلَ مَظِنَّةُ ذَلِكَ؛ لِمَا فِي النَّهَارِ مِنَ الشَّوَاغِلِ وَالْعَوَارِضِ الدُّنْيَوِيَّةِ وَالدِّينِيَّةِ))

Ibn Hajar states in Fath Al-Bari, in his commentary on the hadith about Jibril عليه السلام reviewing the Quran with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ every night in Ramadan:

"The purpose of recitation is attentiveness and understanding, for the night is more suited to this; given the distractions and preoccupations, both worldly and religious, present during the day."

اللهم اجعلنا
لك مخلصـين
لك مستجيبين
إليـك مـنيبـين
لنبيك متبـعين
لـدينـك داعـين
بخلقك راحمين❤️

﴿.. ولم أكن بدعائك ربِّ شقيًّا﴾
"And I have not been disappointed in my supplication to You, my Lord"

أي لم تكن يا رب تردني خائبا ولا محروما من الإجابة، بل لم تزل بي حفيا ولدعائي مجيبا، ولم تزل ألطافك تتوالى علي، وإحسانك واصلا إلي،
This means, "O Lord, You never turned me away in despair or deprived me of a response. Instead, You have always been kind to me and have consistently answered my prayers. Your blessings have continuously poured upon me, and Your goodness has always reached me."

وهذا توسل إلى الله بإنعامه عليه، وإجابة دعواته السابقة، فسأل الذي أحسن سابقا، أن يتمم إحسانه لاحقا.
This is an appeal to Allah, recalling His past kindness and answered prayers, asking the One who has done good before to complete His goodness in the future.

كَيفية سُجود التِلاوة؟

بكى عند قراءته ”إنّك سميع الدعاء” يا ربّ!

لو جُمعت كل أشكال المواساة في كفّة؛ فلن تعادل طمأنينة الحرم وصوت الشيخ ماهر والدوسري!

ينعاد علينا واحنا في الحرم السنة الجايّة بإذن الله.
