Call upon your Lord with humility and in secret.

Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan said:

"Supplication is the key to the treasures of Allah, the Almighty. If you wish to open the treasures of Allah, then increase your supplication."

the generosity of Allah is not delayed

it comes to you at the right time

just as Allah wills.
"If your deeds are not sincere for Allah

Then every building you have built will be in ruins."

Strong beginnings are important, but perseverance is more important. The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent. Therefore, in this statement, Musa عليه السلام combines a strong beginning with the determination to continue, as he said: "I will not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for ages." [Al-Kahf: 60].
He is declaring his readiness to continue his journey in search of knowledge until he reaches his goal, or he will keep going even if it takes years (Huquban).

لذلك جاءت الآيات بعدها كلها معطوفة بحرف الفاء الذي يدل على السرعة والمتابعة: {فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا...}؛ {فَاتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَهُ...}؛ {فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَا...}؛ {فَارْتَدَّا عَلَى آثَارِهِمَا...}
This is why all the following verses are connected with the letter "Fa" (which indicates speed and continuity):
{فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا...}
"And when they reached..."
"And he took his path..."
{فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَا...}
"And when they passed..."
{فَارْتَدَّا عَلَى آثَارِهِمَا...}
"And they returned to their footsteps...".

Allah warned us against the example that falters and stops at the slightest obstacle. Allah said:

{أَفَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ؛ وَأَعْطَىٰ قَلِيلًا وَأَكْدَىٰ}
"Have you seen the one who turned away; and gave a little and then stopped?" [An-Najm: 33-34].

This person was on the right path but turned away and did not complete it for two reasons: The first reason is the weakness of the beginning

"He gave a little" – notice the word "little"... a weak offering from the start.

The second reason is the failure to struggle against one’s self to continue when faced with obstacles

"And he stopped when he reached the rocky ground".

means to stop when reaching a stone hard enough to obstruct the one digging for water. It is said about someone who seeks something but does not reach its end, or gives something but does not complete it, that they have "stopped" (Akda). This stone will certainly confront you on your path, so beware of stopping.

The meaning of "Akdi" (أكدى) is "to cut off" or "to stop". It refers to the hardness of a well's bottom, where if the digger reaches this point, they despair of continuing to dig further, so the digging is halted.

Therefore, it was said of anyone who sought something but did not reach its end, or someone who started giving but did not complete it, that they "Akdi" (قطع).

The Qur'an is with the believer in his worldly life and with him in the Hereafter!
"O Allah, teach us the Qur'an,

make us understand the Qur'an,

make our character the Qur'an,

elevate us through the Qur'an,

adorn our hearts with faith, and fill them with the Qur'an.

O Allah, grant us the sweetness of memorizing it, mastering it, reciting it from memory, and acting upon it.

O Allah, make us among those who stand upon its limits and letters."

Marrying a spouse who has memorised the Qur’ān or is on the journey to do so is not just about sharing a home. It is about sharing a purpose, a mission, and a path to Jannah.

There is nothing more beautiful in life than sitting together and revising the Qur’ān, reciting the words of Allah in unison, and supporting each other in maintaining this noble connection. It strengthens your bond with Allah, and in turn, it strengthens your relationship with one another. The love you share becomes deeper and more meaningful because it is built upon the foundation of Taqwa.

As Allah blesses you with children, this environment of Qur’ānic guidance and love becomes their inheritance.

Then, as life progresses and your children grow up and move away, leaving you and your spouse together, what could be more beautiful than waking up each morning to revise the Qur’ān with one another? What could be more fulfilling than continuing this blessed routine until Allah calls you back to Him? A marriage centred on the Qur’ān is a bond that transcends this world and lasts for eternity.
Ramadan is approaching, and the hearts are filled with longing.

The winds of remembrance carry an overwhelming sense of yearning.
This great season for the Hereafter is a time for a Muslim to prepare themselves with the determination to its proper use from the beginning of it to the ending with good deeds that raise their ranks and forgive their sins.

Among these deeds are:

1. To protect their fast from anything that diminishes or corrupts it.

2. To maintain the night prayers with the Imams in the mosques.

3. To strive for generosity and benevolence, following the example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). As narrated by Al-Bukhari (8) and Muslim (6009) from Ibn Abbas, who said:
"The Prophet (peace be upon him) was the most generous of people, and he was even more generous during Ramadan when he met Jibriel. Jibriel used to meet him every night of Ramadan and review the Quran with him." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was more generous with good deeds than a fast-moving wind. And A person should read and reflect on the Quran abundantly during this month.

4. To take advantage of the means to obtain forgiveness and be cautious not to miss out on istigfar/ forgiveness during this month.

5. To avoid wasting the nights of Ramadan with frivolous entertainment, watching movies, or TV shows, especially those that portray the Companions.

6. To strive to revive the last ten nights of Ramadan in worship.

7. Just as a Muslim is diligent in fasting during Ramadan, it is even more important for them to be diligent in performing the five daily prayers on time, as they are the foundation of Islam.

8. After the month of Ramadan has passed, and the Muslim has experienced the joy and devotion in worship, it is good fate for him to continue drawing closer to Allah through good deeds.

I ask Allah عزوجل to grant success to the Muslims in fasting and standing in prayer during the month of Ramadan in a way that pleases Him and brings them closer to Him. May He reform their hearts, words, and actions. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the Responsive.

Counting them is beyond ability to do so. So all praise is for Him for encompassing us with them,
And all praise is for Him for the gratitude for them."
"Many people pray during the nights of Ramadan in a way that they do not understand or feel tranquility in their prayer; rather, they perform it hastily. This is not permissible, it is actually an invalid practice that renders the prayer invalid, because tranquility is a required component in prayer, as indicated by the previously mentioned hadith. Therefore, it is obligatory to be cautious about this.

In a hadith narrated from him, peace be upon him, he said: 'The worst thief is the one who steals his prayer.' They asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, how can one steal his prayer?' He said: 'He does not complete its bowing (rukoo') or its prostration (sujood).'

It is reported from him, peace be upon him, that he instructed the person who hastily performed his prayer to repeat it."

It has been reported in the Sunan of Tirmidhi from the hadith of Abu Hurairah from the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) that he said:

"When the first night of the month of Ramadan begins, the devils and the rebellious jinn are shackled, the doors of Hell are closed, and none of its doors are opened. The doors of Paradise are opened, and none of its doors are closed.

A caller announces: 'O seeker of good, come forward, and O seeker of evil, desist!'

And Allah has those whom He frees from the Fire, and this happens every night."

“And what I have experienced from the beginning of my life until its end is that whenever a person relies on anything other than Allah in any matter, it becomes a cause of affliction, trial, hardship, and calamity.

But when a servant relies on Allah and does not turn to anyone among creation, that desired thing is attained in the best possible way.

This experience has persisted with me from the beginning of my life until this moment when I have reached the age of fifty-seven."
