"Recognize the value of His kindness towards you and His protection over you. He only prohibited you from sins as means of safeguarding and preserving you, not out of stinginess towards you. He only commanded you to obey Him as an act of mercy and benevolence, not because He has any need of you."

"The best companion you can dedicate your life to is the Quran."
Imam Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "When a person seeks the Quran and the knowledge of Allah, the Almighty, it won't be long before this is reflected in their humility, self descipline, forbearance, and modesty."

"If someone says: 'If I have ambition, yet I have not received/been granted what I seek, what should I do?'
The answer is: If provision is withheld from one type/way, it will not be withheld from another. It is unlikely that He granted you ambition and does not assist you.
So examine your situation: perhaps He gave you something that you did not appreciate, or He tested you with a desire that you did not endure( could not have patience).
And know that sometimes He withholds many of the pleasures of this world from you in order to give you the pleasures of knowledge. You are weak and might not be able to handle both. He knows best what is suitable for you."

Allah is the peace for the fearful.

the refuge for those who return to Him,

They were certain and aware of their situation, realizing that no one but Allah alone could save them from hardships and they could seek refuge in Him.

Why must we wait for misfortunes to remind us of Allah and bring us closer to Him?
Is He not worthy of heeding to without troubles reminding us to do so?
Is all that He favoured us with ie life, health, faith, safety, and happiness so insignificant that we don't bow our heads without material reasons.
Adjust the compass of your heart towards Him, then walk towards Him even if you have to crawl on your knees. You will arrive,
"for wherever you turn, there is the face of Allah."

Increase in the obedience of Allah in the month if Sha'ban
Increase in the recitation of Qur'an in this month
Whoever prepares for Ramadan through obedience will find help in performing acts of worship during it. But whoever approaches Ramadan with various sins and prohibitions, he burdens his heart and soul with weights that will obstruct him from acts of worship during Ramadan.

O fasting ones, the month of Ramadan is the month of goodness, blessings, and acts of obedience. It is the month of the Qur'an, faith, and charity. It is the month of distinction, piety, and supplication. It is the month of patience, generosity, and giving. It is the month of sacrifice, spending, and generosity. A month filled with virtues, characteristics, and qualities.
Imam Abu Bakr al-Shibli, may Allah have mercy on him, used to intensify his efforts during the month of Ramadan, saying: "The month that my Lord has honored, so I am the first to honor it."

Just yesterday, we were bidding farewell to the past Ramadan, which passed like the blink of an eye—one year gone with its joys and sorrows, its pains and hopes. In this, there is a lesson and a reminder of how quickly the world passes, encouraging the servant to strive, work hard, and be diligent in seizing this blessed month in all its moments, which cannot be replaced.

Strong beginnings are important, but perseverance is more important. The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent. Therefore, in this statement, Musa عليه السلام combines a strong beginning with the determination to continue, as he said: "I will not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for ages." [Al-Kahf: 60].
He is declaring his readiness to continue his journey in search of knowledge until he reaches his goal, or he will keep going even if it takes years (Huquban).
لذلك جاءت الآيات بعدها كلها معطوفة بحرف الفاء الذي يدل على السرعة والمتابعة: {فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا...}؛ {فَاتَّخَذَ سَبِيلَهُ...}؛ {فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَا...}؛ {فَارْتَدَّا عَلَى آثَارِهِمَا...}
This is why all the following verses are connected with the letter "Fa" (which indicates speed and continuity):
{فَلَمَّا بَلَغَا...}
"And when they reached..."
"And he took his path..."
{فَلَمَّا جَاوَزَا...}
"And when they passed..."
{فَارْتَدَّا عَلَى آثَارِهِمَا...}
"And they returned to their footsteps...".
Allah warned us against the example that falters and stops at the slightest obstacle. Allah said:
{أَفَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ؛ وَأَعْطَىٰ قَلِيلًا وَأَكْدَىٰ}
"Have you seen the one who turned away; and gave a little and then stopped?" [An-Najm: 33-34].
This person was on the right path but turned away and did not complete it for two reasons: The first reason is the weakness of the beginning
"He gave a little" – notice the word "little"... a weak offering from the start.
The second reason is the failure to struggle against one’s self to continue when faced with obstacles
"And he stopped when he reached the rocky ground".
means to stop when reaching a stone hard enough to obstruct the one digging for water. It is said about someone who seeks something but does not reach its end, or gives something but does not complete it, that they have "stopped" (Akda). This stone will certainly confront you on your path, so beware of stopping.

The meaning of "Akdi" (أكدى) is "to cut off" or "to stop". It refers to the hardness of a well's bottom, where if the digger reaches this point, they despair of continuing to dig further, so the digging is halted.
Therefore, it was said of anyone who sought something but did not reach its end, or someone who started giving but did not complete it, that they "Akdi" (قطع).
