"كان حلمًا لم أظن دنوّه ولكن فضل الله كان عظيمًا"

"It was a dream I never thought would come true, but the favour of Allah has ever been great."

Allah, the Almighty, commanded the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم to narrate to the people the story of Zakariya (peace be upon him), and what happened when Allah granted him a child in his old age, even though his wife had been barren in her youth and was now also aged. This was so that no one would despair of Allah's grace and mercy, or lose hope in His favor.
Allah's mercy is evident in the verse: “Remember the mercy of your Lord to His servant Zakariya when he called upon his Lord in secret.” (Quran 3:38).

Qatadah, when interpreting this verse, said: "Indeed, Allah knows the pure heart and hears the quietest of voices."

Some of the early scholars mentioned that Zakariya (peace be upon him) stood up at night and called upon his Lord in a way that was hidden from those present, whispering. He said: "O my Lord, O my Lord, O my Lord." Allah responded: "I am here, I am here, I am here."

من أبوابِ الحُزن الواسعة: خوفُ الإنسانِ من المستقبل؛ يخافُ ألا يُرزَق، ويخافُ مخبّآتِ القدر، وتسلّط البشَر.
"Among the wide gates of sadness is the fear of the future, the fear of not being provided for, the fear of the hidden twists of destiny, and the oppression of people.

وليسَ ثمّة ما يمسحُ هذه المخاوِف من قلبِ الإنسان: كحُسن التوكّل، وقوّة اليقين؛ ".
And there is nothing that can erase these fears from the heart of a person like having good Tawakkul in Allah and strong Yaqeen.

ففي شدة الكرب والمخاوف، قال عليه الصلاة والسلام لصاحبه : {لا تحزَن إنّ الله معنا}
In times of hardship and fear, the Prophet, peace be upon him, said to his companion: 'Do not grieve, for indeed, Allah is with us.'"

‏«أود تذكيرك بأن كل شيء بقضاء وقدر وأن الجزع لا يرد عنك القضاء وأن ما أنت فيه أخفُّ مما هو أكبرُ منه وأن ما بقي لك أكثرُ ممّا أُخذ منك وأن لكل قدرٍ حكمة لو علمتها لرأيتَ المصيبة هي عينُ النعمة وأن كل مصيبةٍ للمؤمن لا تخلو من ثوابٍ ومغفرةٍ أو تمحيصٍ ورفعة وما عندَ اللهِ خيرٌ وأبقى»

"I would like to remind you that everything is by Allah's will and destiny, and that anxiety cannot change what has been decreed. What you are going through is lighter than what could have been worse, and what remains for you is more than what has been taken. Every decree has wisdom, and if you knew it, you would see that what seems like a calamity is actually a blessing. Every hardship for a believer contains reward, forgiveness, or purification and elevation. What is with Allah is better and everlasting."

"إني مفتقر للخير الذي تسوقه إليَّ وتيسره لي. وهذا سؤال منه بحاله، والسؤال بالحال أبلغ من السؤال بلسان المقال، فلم يزل في هذه الحالة داعيا ربه متملقا. "

"O Allah, I am in need of the khair that You bring to me and make easy for me. This is a request expressed through his( Moosa alayhis salam) state/ Haal, and a request expressed through one's state is more eloquent than one expressed through words. He remained in this state, constantly calling upon his Lord, humbling himself."

"Things that help the Hafidh ul Quran to preserve their memorization:

- Praying and asking Allah for assistance, opening the heart, and steadfastness.
- Closing the Quran while reviewing the memorized portion.
- Reciting from the memorized portion during prayer.
- Regularly reviewing.
- Being keen on listening to a reciter.
- Reciting with proper tajweed (intonation) when reviewing.

O Allah, make the Quran firm in our hearts."

وَأَحْسِنُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ ❤️

«إذا اكرمك الله أن تحفظ وتراجع القرآن في هذا الزمن المزدحم بالمشتتات والملهيات والتحديات الكبرى، فهذه نعمة اختصك الله بها من بين كثير من الناس!
"If Allah has blessed you to memorize and review the Qur'an in this time filled with distractions, diversions, and great challenges, then this is a blessing that Allah has granted you out of many people!

فاحمد الله على ما اصطفاك به، واثبت واعلم أنك ستُبتلى ليرى الله صدقك»
So praise Allah for what He has chosen you for, be steadfast, and know that you will be tested so that Allah may see your sincerity."

"Sticking to the Quran and not abandoning it is evidence of one's love for it. For whoever loves something, they cling to it, just as a companion stays close to their friend."

عَطشَى هِي أَروَاحُنَا فَكَان لَهَا الرَّوَاء..
"Our souls are thirsty, and the Quran is the water that quenches them."

كان المسلمون إذا دخل شعبان أكبُّوا على المصاحف وأخرجوا الزكاة.
The Muslims, when Sha'ban entered, would turn to the Qur'an and give out the zakat.

Fifty Proven Supplications from Our Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم.

‏أنتَ صَالحٌ ما دُمتَ تُجاهدُ نفسَك علىٰ الصَّلاح،
You are righteous as long as you strive to rectify yourself.

مُحاولات الإستقامة لا تَصدُر من قلوبٍ فاسدة
Attempts at uprightness do not come from corrupt hearts.

إغتَنَمُوا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ
Take Advantage of Yawm Al Jumu'ah

كَثْرَةُ الصَّلَاَةِ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ :-
قال رسول ﷲ ﷺ :« أكثروا من الصلاة عليّ ليلة الجمعة و يوم الجمعة فإن صلاتكم معروضة عليّ » .
Increase in Sending Salutations upon the Prophet (ﷺ):
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Increase your prayers upon me on the night and day of Friday, for your prayers are presented to me."

الدُّعَاءُ :
عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ الله عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَكَرَ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ، فَقَالَ :« فِيه سَاعَةٌ لا يُوَافِقها عَبْدٌ مُسلِمٌ، وَهُو قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي يسأَلُ اللَّه شَيْئًا، إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاه» .

The Dua :
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) mentioned the day of Friday, saying: "On it is an hour in which no Muslim servant stands to pray and asks Allah for something, except that He grants it to him."

سُورَةُ الْكَهْفِ :-
عن أبي سَعيدٍ الخُدريِّ عنِ النبيِّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّم أنَّه قال :« مَن قَرَأَ سورةَ الكَهفِ يومَ الجُمُعةِ أضاءَ له من النورِ ما بَينَ الجُمُعتينِ » .

Surah Al-Kahf:
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on the day of Friday, it will illuminate him with light between this Friday and the next."

"Every achievement has a temporary pleasure...

Except for memorizing the Qur'an, for its pleasure is like Noor in the heart, Noor in this world, Noor in the grave, and Noor on the Sirat."

‏[شهرُ شعبانَ شهرُ القُرّاء]
The Month of Sha'ban is the Month of the Reciters

قال الإمامُ ابنُ رجبٍ:
Imam Ibn Rajab said:

"لمّا كان شعبانُ كالمقدّمةِ لرمضانَ؛ شُرعَ فيه ما يُشرعُ في رمضانَ مِنَ الصّيامِ وقراءةِ القرآنِ؛لِيَحصُلَ التّأهُّبُ لتلقّي رمضان وتَرْتاضَ النُّفوسُ بذلك على طاعةِ الرّحمنِ ...
"Since Sha'ban is like a preparatory period to Ramadan, it is prescribed to observe the practices of Ramadan during it, such as fasting and reading the Qur'an, in order to prepare oneself for the arrival of Ramadan and to train the soul in obedience to the Most Merciful...

وكان حبيبُ بنُ أبي ثابتٍ إذا دخل شعبانُ قال: هذا شهرُ القُرّاءِ"
And when Sha'ban would enter, Habib ibn Abi Thabit would say: 'This is the month of the reciters.'"

اللهم اجعل القرآن حجة لنا ولا تجعله حجة علينا ...
اللهم اجعلنا ممن يقرؤه فيرقى ولا تجعلنا ممن يقرؤه فيزل ويشقى...

‏"التوكّل قوّة؛ ولو جُمعت للمرء أشكال المواساة وألوانها فلن يجد شيئًا يمسح على قلبه ويقوّي أركان طمأنينته مثل تفويض أمره لله،
"Trust in Allah is the strength; even if all forms and colors of consolation were gathered for a person, they would not find anything that soothes their heart and strengthens their sense of tranquility like entrusting their affairs to Allah,

واستشعاره أنه في ظلال معيّة الله، وأن الله كافيه أمره"
Feeling that they are under His protection, and knowing that Allah will suffice them in their matters."

"Allah, the All-Hearing, who hears your supplication.
Allah, the Perfect, who rewards you for little deeds with much.
Allah, the Praiseworthy, to whom you praise and seek refuge in your fear!
Allah, the Source of Peace, to whom you have surrendered your soul!

And if you truly knew Allah, the Source of Peace, you would think well of Him and fill your heart with tranquility."
