The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Three supplications are certainly accepted: the supplication of a parent, the supplication of a traveler, and the supplication of an oppressed person”
[Narrated by Ahmad and Abu Dawood, and graded as Hasan by Al-Albani].
Mujahid said, “The supplication of a parent is never withheld from Allah, the Almighty.”
The reason for the acceptance of such supplications, as explained by scholars, lies in the sincerity of the parent's request, their recognition of their own helplessness, their good opinion of Allah, their compassionate heart, their humility, and their mercy.
"The merciful are shown mercy by Allah, the Almighty."

“Listening to the Holy Quran is an act of worship:
Just as reciting the Holy Quran is an act of worship,
listening to it is also an act of worship to Allah Almighty.

"The attraction of a man to a woman and a woman to a man is a natural instinct and an innate characteristic. Just as a man is commanded to lower his gaze and protect his private parts, so is a woman."
"Look at the precision of the Qur'anic expression, since a woman is commanded to be modest and covered in any place where her beauty might be seen by eyes that should not gaze upon her, her adornment is mentioned without specifying its locations."
"The woman who is keen on preserving her modesty is the one who covers every part of herself, and the lengthening of her headscarf to reach her chest is one of the strongest evidence for covering the face and surrounding areas."
"There is no female who is not fond of her beauty, and she enjoys the praise of others for her attractiveness and charm. Islam has specified this appreciation to her husband only, allowing her to reveal some of it to her close relatives."
"Among a woman's adornments are those that attract the eyes and those that tempts the ears, so she must cover all of that."

Ruling on supplicating to Allah to marry a specific person...

Ruling on supplicating to Allah to marry a specific person...
"What is the ruling on praying to marry a specific person, to get a specific job, or to have male or female children?"
"You should attribute that to Allah's will and trust that Allah will choose what is best for you.
A man prays for a righteous woman, and a woman prays for a righteous husband, but you should not specify a particular person because you might not know if that person is truly the best choice. Thus, let Allah choose for you.
Similarly, when it comes to a job, trust that Allah will choose the suitable position for you. Do not specify a particular job or person for marriage. Instead, ask Allah to choose what is best for you. However, when performing Istikhara (guidance prayer), you can specify the situation, such as asking about a particular woman a man is considering marrying, or a specific job opportunity someone is contemplating. When praying, you should leave the choice to Allah, asking Him to guide you to what is best without pinpointing a particular outcome."

Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said: “If you’re unable to compete with the righteous in performing good deeds, then compete with sinners by racing towards forgiveness.”

Abu al-‘Attahiyah رحمه الله said: « A time will come upon the people, wherein the Quran will disappear from their hearts, nor will they find sweetness or delight in it.
If they fall short in what they’ve been commanded they say “Allah is the forgiving and merciful” and if they approach what they’ve been forbidden from, they say “Allah will surely forgive us.”
They wear sheep’s clothing over the heart of a ravenous wolf. »
How often should the Quran be completed?
A majority of the salaf say a week, and this is easy for those who Allah has made it easy for.
And for those of weak iman, they said a month ... such that al-Qurtubi said that 40 days is the action of the negligent.
Where do we stand?

"The hunger of the heart is greater than the hunger of the stomach. When the heart is starved and deprived of what nourishes it, it becomes vulnerable to afflictions and weakens, leading to destructive influences that overwhelm it. It turns into a reservoir of impurities, where the evils of doubts and desires collide. Therefore, take care of your hearts and fill them with the knowledge of Allah, His majesty, and reverence."
