"Those who remember Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth, Our Lord, You have not created all this in vain. Glory be to You! Save us from the punishment of the fire.
Our Lord, whomever You cause to enter the fire, You have surely brought to disgrace, and the wrongdoers will have no helpers."
Imam as sa'di says in his tafseer:
"Reflection is an act of worship, and is one of the characteristics of the close friends of Allah. When they reflect upon these things (the heavens and the earth), they realise that Allah did not create them in vain."

Abdur-Rahman bin Aban bin ‘Uthman bin ‘Affan narrated that his father said:
“Zaid bin Thabit departed from Marwan at mid-day. I said: ‘He has not sent him out at this time of the day except for something he asked.’
So I asked him, and he said: ‘He asked me about some things we heard from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say:
“Whoever is focused only on this world, Allah will confound his affairs and make him fear poverty constantly, and he will not get anything of this world except that which has been decreed for him. Whoever is focused on the Hereafter, Allah will settle his affairs for him and make him feel content with his lot, and his provision and worldly gains will undoubtedly come to him.”
(Sunan Ibn Majah 4105)

Salaf used to say:
"Knowledge calls for action, so either the call is answered or it will take off."
"Knowledge calls for action, so either the call is answered or it will take off."
"Allah will raise in degree those of you who believe, and those who have been granted knowledge."
(Al Mujaadilah, 11)
Here, Allah does not define or clarify His meaning of "degree";
We say this degree all depends on the following: upon one's strength of his Emaan (faith) and the level of his Ilm, so the more firmer his Emaan is, the more his Ilm is, the more a person benefits from him and benefits others, the more his degree will be raised.
So, the more you increase in both (Emaan and Ilm), the higher Allah the Exalted elevates you. So strive to your upmost limit in pursuing and acquiring Ilm.
May Allah raise us and help us in His remembrance, showing Him thankfulness and being more subservient to Him as those who fear Him.

As it was said by a poet:
“So know, if you seek Ilm, then it is like you are in pursuit of the most precious object, so beware of what you are in pursuit of. So, if you are aware of this fact, then focus your heart on nothing but the pursuit of seeking Ilm. ”
(Al jawahir Al muziyah fi tabaqaatul Hanafiyah 3/324.)

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said to Ali ibn Abi Taalib, when he gave him the flag on the Day of Khaibar:
“Advance with ease and gentleness until you arrive in their midst, then call to Islam and inform them of their duties to Allah in Islam. By Allah, if a person is guided by Allah through you, it will be better for you than a whole lot of red
camels. ”

The similitude of this world is like that of a vessel filled with honey. The flies see this vessel and fly toward it. Some of them sit on the edge of the vessel and take from the honey until they satisfy their needs, and then they fly away. Some of them are led by their greed to plunge themselves into the abyss of the honey. Their submersion into the honey prevents them from enjoying it, except for a brief enjoyment, until they perish in the middle of it.

If it is possible to conceal the misfortune then it should be concealed as in doing so is of the secret blessings of Allah. Abu Hurayrah (rady Allahu 'anhu) reported from the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم that he said:
"If a servant falls ill, Allah will send two angels to him. Allah says to the angels: "Look at what he says to those who visit him." If he praises Allah when they come to visit him, this is raised to Allah who already knows. Allah will say: "If my servant dies I will enter him into Paradise, and if I cure him I will substitute a better body for him and better blood for him, and I will expiate is sins."

تَعصِي الإِلَه وأنتَ تُظهِرُ حُبَّه
هذَا مُحَالٌ فِي القِيَاسِ بَدِيعُ

إِنّ المُحِبَّ لِمن يُحِبُّ مُطِيعُ
Disobeying Allah while expressing his love ,
this isn't possible normally and is incredible.
if your love was true you would obey him,
Indeed the lover is obedient to the one he loves.

The word Haya' (shyness) is extracted from the word al-hayat (life). Al ghayth (rainfall) is also known as Haya due to the life it brings to the ground, the plants and the animals. Likewise, shyness is the route through which you gain a life in this world and the next, and whoever does not have any shyness is dead in this life and wretched in the Hereafter.
There is correlation from all angles between sins, a lack of shyness and a lack of condemnation for evil. Each one of them attracts the other and avidly seeks it out.
Whoever has a shyness that prevents him from enacting the sin, Allah will be shy to punish him on the day. the servant meets Him, but whoever is not ashamed of sinning, Allah shall not be shy to establish His punishment on him.

The night prayer
The Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم) said,
"O'Abdallah, do not be like so-and-so who used to pray at night and then neglected it."
Al-Tabarani and others related that Sahl ibn Sa'd (رضي الله عنه) stated him and that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said,
"A Muslim's nobility is praying at night."
Imam an nawawi رحمه الله said:
"Praying and reciting at night are pre ponderant because at that time they are most primed for the calmness of the heart; removed from preoccupations, entertainment, and attending to needs; and more safe-guarded from ostentation and other things that reduce reward-in addition to what the Sacred Law has deemed about the great good that can be found at night. Indeed, the Messenger's (God bless him and grant him peace) Miraculous Journey was at night."
The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said,
"At night there is an hour in which Allah answers every supplication and it is every night."
'Amr ibn al-'As (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وسلم) said,
"Whoever stood at night for ten verses will not be written among the heedless. Whoever stood for one hundred verses is written among the obedient. Whoever stood for one thousand verses is written among the ones with intense riches (Abu Dawud and others related it.)
Al-Tha'labi conveyed that Ibn 'Abbas ( رضي الله عنه ) said, "Whoever prays two rak'as at night has spent the night prostrating and standing for Allah."

Ibn Hazm said:
1- If there was no virtue of knowledge except that: Those who are ignorant fear and venerate you and the scholars love and honor you... then that would be enough of a reason to seek it. So what about all of its other virtues in this world and the hereafter?
2- And if there was no defect or imperfection in ignorance except for the fact that: The ignorant one is jealous of the scholars and he envies his ignorant peers... then that would be enough of a reason to run away and flee from ignorance. So what about all of its other vices in this world and the hereafter?

How far we are from the path of the Salaf. Yet we adamantly claim to be upon their way. How many years did you worship before you decided to study the sacred sciences aswell, as speak about them on your social media pages and stories at length?
And how many of us actually followed their advice in beginning with the memorisation of the Qur'ān and studying the Fiqh of 'Ibādah first?
الله المستعان
And when we do actually begin our studies, how quick we are to claim we are students of the sciences! "I am a student of knowledge!" "Students of ḥadīth!" we so insistently claim.
If you find yourself boldly making claims of this nature, ponder upon the following:

From the signs of beneficial knowledge are:
1. Implementing it.
2. Hatred of being praised, complemented, or displaying haughtiness over others.
3. Increasing your humility with the increase of your knowledge.
4. Fleeing from the love of leadership, fame, and worldly pleasures.
5. Abandoning the claim to have Knowledge.
6. Having bad suspicions about oneself, and good suspicion about other people, so as to steer clear from disparaging them.
