• ساعة استجابة.
"واذكُر أَخاكَ معَ الغُروبِ بِدعوةٍ
"And remember your brother at sunset with a prayer
تكشِفُ بِها هَمّاً عليهِ ثَقيلاً."
By which you relieve a heavy burden from him."

Malik ibn Dinar (may Allah have mercy upon him) said:
"Whoever does not find comfort in the words of Allah compared to the words of creation, then his knowledge has diminished, his heart has become blind, and his life has been wasted."
And Hasan ibn Ali(may Allah have mercy upon him) said:
"Indeed, those before you regarded the Quran as messages from their Lord, so they used to contemplate it at night and examine it during the day."

قال العلامة السعدي رحمه الله:
Imam Saadi, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
وليعلم العبد أن الله مسبب الأسباب وميسرها،
"Let the servant know that Allah is the ultimate cause of all causes and he facilitates them.
فإيـــاك أن تعجب بنفسك وحذقك وذكائك، فـإن هــذا هــو الهــــلاك.
So beware of admiring yourself, your intelligence, and your cleverness, for this is indeed a path to destruction.
وإنما الكمـــــال أن تخضع لربك وتكون مفتقرًا إليه مضطرًا إليه على الدوام.
True perfection lies in submitting to your Lord and constantly being in need of him relying upon him."
الرياض الناضرة (١٨٤)
Imam Saadi, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
وليعلم العبد أن الله مسبب الأسباب وميسرها،

محرم، رجب، ذو القعدة، ذو الحجة
المعصية والطاعة فيهن أعظم من غيرهن
During the months of Muharram, Rajab, Dhul-Qa'dah, and Dhul-Hijjah, disobedience and obedience in them are greater than in other months.
قال تعالى
( فَلَا تَظْلِمُوا فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمْ ) التوبة 36
Allah سبحان وتعالى says:
"So do not wrong yourselves therein..." (9:36)
وإذا عظمت المعصية فيهن فالطاعة أعظم
فلا تغفل وبادر إلى إيقاظ قلبك
وتقرب إلى الله تعالى فنحن في شهر محرم.
When sins are more severe during these months, obedience is therefore greater. So, do not be negligent, strive to awaken your heart and draw nearer to Allah for we are in the month of Muharram.
المعصية والطاعة فيهن أعظم من غيرهن

Amri Zahid said: "Neglecting oneself and turning away from Allah is when you see something that displeases Allah and you overlook it, neither commanding nor forbidding it, out of fear of someone who has no power to bring harm or benefit to himself."
He also said: "Whoever neglects enjoining good and forbidding evil due to fear of creatures, has stripped himself of obedience, even if he were to command his child or some of his followers, he would trivialize his rights."
Abu Bakr al-Siddiq said, "O people, indeed you recite this verse but you misapply it:
"O you who have believed, upon you is [responsibility for] yourselves. They will not harm you at all as long as you are guided." ( 5:105)
Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying,
"When people see an oppressor but do not take him by the hand [to prevent him from doing evil], soon Allah will cover them all with punishment from Himself."
He also said: "Whoever neglects enjoining good and forbidding evil due to fear of creatures, has stripped himself of obedience, even if he were to command his child or some of his followers, he would trivialize his rights."
Abu Bakr al-Siddiq said, "O people, indeed you recite this verse but you misapply it:
"O you who have believed, upon you is [responsibility for] yourselves. They will not harm you at all as long as you are guided." ( 5:105)
Indeed, I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying,

Beware of sins, for their consequences are dire, their punishments severe, and hearts that loves them are sick.
Souls inclined towards them are misguided.
Safety from them is a treasure, and well-being from them is invaluable.
Affliction through them, especially in old age, is indeed a great calamity.
Obeying Allah is the best that a servant can acquire, so be obedient to Allah and do not disobey Him.
Destruction of souls comes only from disobedience, so avoid what He has forbidden and do not approach it, for indulging in it risks your own soul.
It is necessary to protect yourself from it.

سألت الله الهداية ، فهداني للقران.
I asked Allah for guidance, so He guided me to the Quran.
سألت الله العوض ،فعوضني بالقرآن .
I asked Allah for compensation, so He compensated me with the Quran.
سألت الله أن يردني إليه ردًا جميلًا ، فردني للقرآن.
I asked Allah to return me to Him beautifully, so He returned me to the Quran.
سألت الله أن يجبر قلبي ، فجبر قلبي بالقرآن .
I asked Allah to mend my heart, so He mended my heart with the Quran.
سألت الله التوفيق ، فوفقني بالقرآن .
I asked Allah for success, so He granted me success through the Quran.
سألت الله الحق ، فأرشدني للقرآن .
I asked Allah for the truth, so He guided me to the Quran.
سألت الله رحمته ، فرحمني بالقرآن .
I asked Allah for His mercy, so He showed me mercy through the Quran.
سألت الله فضله ، فتفضل علي بالقرآن .

كلما سألت الله شيء
Every time I asked Allah for something,
رأيته في القرآن وبالقرآن ومع القرآن .
I found it in the Quran, with the Quran, and through the Quran.
لا تبحث بعيدًا
Do not search far away,
كل ما تريده موجود على ذلك الرف .
Everything you seek is on that shelf.
I asked Allah for guidance, so He guided me to the Quran.
سألت الله العوض ،فعوضني بالقرآن .

نصيحة لمن أراد حفظ القرآن :
Advice for those who want to memorize the Quran:
قلل المقدار،
Reduce the amount,
وأكثر التكرار،
Increase the repetition,
وداوم على الاستمرار،
Be consistent in continuity,
ولازم الاستغفار
Persist in seeking forgiveness,
وخفف الأوزار،
Lighten the burdens,
وصاحب الأخيار.
and associate with the righteous.
Advice for those who want to memorize the Quran:

لا تيأس إن رجعت خطوة للوراء! فالسهم يحتاج أن ترجعه للوراء لينطلق بقوة إلى الأمام!

Reminder to fast tomorrow for Ashura :
• Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam said fasting this day may erase the sins of past year..
• Musa Alayhi salam and his qawm used to fast this day being greatful to Allah of saving him and his qawm from the tyrant Firawn.. So it is upon us to do the same since we have more right over him..

On the day of Ashura
Musa عليه السلام arrived at the sea
There was no escape
The sea was in front of him.
And Firawn was behind him...
And the children of Israel said to him: "Indeed, we are overtaken",
but he answered them with the answer of one who trusts in his Lord:
"No, indeed, with me is my Lord. He will guide me."
"O Allah, grant us certainty in you like the certainty of Musa Alayhi Salam, belief in your promise like the belief of Musa, and trust in You like the trust of Musa."
