"The Quran is light, and this light, if it settles upon a darkened heart, its darkness dissipates and its state becomes peaceful and tranquil, and it becomes content!"

في صحيح البخاري ومسلم قالت عائشة رضي الله عنها: «إن أبا بكر رجل رقيق إذا قرأ القرآن غلبه البكاء».
In Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said,
"Verily, Abu Bakr was a tender-hearted man and when he recited the Quran, he would often cry."

ونحن حين نقرأ القرآن نطارد إشعارات البرامج ونتابع سيل الرسائل، ونلهث خلف المنشورات والتغريدات
Today, when we recite the Quran, we chase notifications of apps, follow the flow of messages, and rush after posts and tweets.

هيهات أن تدمع عيوننا والقلب مشتت.
Rarely do our eyes tear up and our hearts become focused.

اللهم أصلح فساد قلوبنا.
O Allah, rectify the corruption of our hearts.

" If Allah decreed it for you, it would have came to you."

قال ابنُ عمر -رضي الله عنهما-: «إنَّ الرّجُلَ لَيستخير اللهَ فيختارُ له، فيَسخَط على ربِّه، فلا يلبثُ أنْ ينظرَ في العاقبةِ فإذا هو خيرٌ له.»

ابن المبارك | الزّهد.

Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said:

"Indeed, a man may seek guidance from Allah and then chooses (what he thinks is best), and becomes displeased with his Lord.
But soon he will see the consequences, and then it turns out to be better for him."

"كثيرًا ما تُعرف محبَّةُ المُحبِّ بكثرة ذِّكر محبوبه .. فهل صدقت محبَّتكَ لرسولك صلَّى الله عليه وسلَّم؟"

"Often, the love of a lover is known by how frequently they mention their beloved.

Have you truly shown your love for your Prophet, peace be upon him?"

فوجود السلفية في الأرض أمر حتمي لازم، وهو من حفظ الله لدينه،
The presence of Salafiyyah on Earth is an inevitable necessity, and it is a preservation of Allah's religion.

ووجودها نعمة على أهل الأرض،
Its existence is a blessing upon the people of the Earth,

ومن اصطفاه الله من بين الملايين المملينة ليكون من أهل هذا المنهج يجب عليه أن يعلم عظم النعمة
and those whom Allah has chosen from among the millions to be adherents of this methodology must recognize the enormity of this blessing.

فالضالون كُثر، فمن اصطفاه الله إلى معرفة هذا المنهج والسير على هذا المنهج فقد أنعم عليه بنعمة عظمى.
For the misguided are many, so whoever Allah has chosen to know this methodology and walk upon it has been greatly blessed with a tremendous favor.

﴿اعلَموا أَنَّمَا الحَياةُ الدُّنيا لَعِبٌ وَلَهوٌ وَزينَةٌ وَتَفاخُرٌ بَينَكُم وَتَكاثُرٌ فِي الأَموالِ وَالأَولادِ﴾

The pure-hearted person enjoys a good life in both worlds. It was said to the Prophet ﷺ: “Who is the best among people?” He said: “Everyone who is pure of heart and truthful in speech.” They said: “We know what it means to be truthful in speech, but what does it mean to be pure of heart?” He said: “It is the one who is pious and clean, he has no sin in him, nor transgression, nor malice, or envy.”

‏مخموم القلب طيِّب الحياة في الدَّارين، قيل للنَّبيِّ ﷺ: أيُّ الناسِ أفضلُ؟ قال: "كلُّ مخمومِ القلبِ صدوقِ اللِّسان"، قالوا: صدوقُ اللِّسانِ نعرفُه، فما مخمومُ القلبِ؟ قال: "هو التَّقيُّ النَّقيُّ، لا إثمَ فيه ولا بغيَ، ولا غِلَّ ولا حسدَ".

‏«لا يزال القُرآن يأخذ بمجامع قلبِ العبد، حتى تنصرفَ شعب القلب كلّها لله»

"The Qur'an continues to seize the entirety of the servant's heart' until all aspects of the heart turns exclusively towards Allah."

فواتح سورة الرحمن للقارئ : عبدالله الخراز

"‏فلَو عرِف العَبد كلّ شيءٍ، و لَم يَعرف ربَّه فَكأنّه لم يَعرف شيئًا"

"If a servant knew everything but does not know his Lord, it would be as if he knows nothing."

"القرآن مال من لا مال له، وعشيرُة من لا عشيرة له، وذخر من لا ذخر له، وكنز من لا كنز له، هو السّلوة في الغربة، والأنيس في الوحشة، و الجلاء لكل ريب، و الشفاء لكل مرض، والعزاء عن كل أحد.."

"The Quran is wealth for those who have no wealth, a family for those who have no family, provision for those who have no provision, and a treasure for those who have no treasure. It is solace in loneliness, a companion in isolation, clarification for every doubt, healing for every illness, and comfort for everyone."

"مع القرآن، راحة القلوب، و سكينة النفوس، و سعةُ الإدراك، و جمال الخُلُق."

"With the Quran, hearts find peace, souls find tranquility, understanding expands, and the character becomes beautiful..."

‏"لو أبصر المؤمن ما خفي من لُطف ربه، لاستلذّ البلاء كما يستلذّ العافية."

"If the believer could see what hidden blessings are in his Lord's kindness, he would be pleased with affliction as he is pleased with well-being."

‏"مَن أراد الهدى والبشارة فليَرِد نبعَ القُرآن، فمَن زاد قربُه منه زادت هدايته، ورُجيت له بِشارته".

"Whoever seeks guidance and good news should seek the source of the Qur'an. The closer one gets to it, the greater their guidance and the hope for good news increases."

﴿   وَكَانَ وَعْداً مَّفْعُولاً   ﴾

"عباد الله علينا أن نعظِّم كتاب ربنا وأن نعيَ أنه عزُّنا وشرفنا،
"O servants of Allah, it is upon us to honor the Book of our Lord and recognize that it is our dignity and honor.

وأن إضاعتنا لهذا القرآن وعدم تعظيمنا له ضياع لنا في الدنيا والآخرة.. 
Our neglect of this Quran and failure to honor it will lead to loss for us in this world and the Hereafter.

نحن قوم أعزنا الله بالقرآن ورفع شأننا بالقرآن وأعلى مقامنا بالقرآن؛
We are a people whom Allah has honored with the Quran, elevated our status with the Quran, and raised our position with the Quran;

فمتى ضيَّعنا القرآن ضِعنا".
thus, when we neglect the Quran, we are indeed in loss."
