Atā' ibn Abī Rabāh said:

متى ما أطلق الله تعالى لسانك بالدعاء، فاعلم انه يريد أن يعطيك ما تشاء مهما عظم مطلبك

"If and when Allāh Almighty unties your tongue to make du'ā, then know that He wants to grant you what you seek, no matter how grand your request is."

~الداء والدواء

قال الشيخ محمد ابن صالح العثيمن (رحمه الله)

a pious woman; even if she’s not stunningly beautiful, her character and religion make her attractive.

- sharḥ riyāḍ al-ṣāliḥīn 820

من أعظم علامات التوفيق هي تيسير الطاعة على العبد

One of the greatest signs of success of the servant is his ease in the lord's obedience,

ومن أعظم التوفيق والتيسير هو قيامه في جوف الليل

and among the greatest success and facilitation is his standing up in the middle of the night,

ولو بركعة واحدة - يخلو بها ويتلذذ في مناجاة ربه

even with a single rak'ah, to be alone with it and take pleasure in communicating with his Lord.

قال ابن رجب :
ليس بعاقل من له حاجة عند ربه ونام وقت السحر!".
Ibn Rajab said:
"He who has a need from his Lord and sleeps at dawn is not sane!"

- تعلم أن تطلب حوائجك في قيام الليل
Learn to ask for your needs during the night prayer!

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

“No slave of Allah commits a sin except that a blessing from Allah is removed from him equal to that sin.

If he repents, that blessing will return to him along with other blessings,

and if he persists upon the sin, the blessing will not return to him.

Sins continue to remove blessing after blessing, until all the blessings are gone.”

Ibn al-Qayyim:

"Man almost forgets the knowledge he has gained due to the sins he has committed."

"the one who treads the path to His Lord is forever focused on two things; emptying his heart for the sincerity of His love, and exerting every effort to comply with His commands.”

Ibn al-Qayyim | Madarij as-Saalikeen 3| 253

يا عباد الله جدّوا، رُبّ داعٍ لا يُردّ

Someone was asked: "How do you get to maintain and preserve your daily prayers?" He replied:

أيقنتُ أن لا أحد يقبلُ لقائي خمس مراتٍ في اليوم بجميع حالاتي: سعيدًا، حزينًا، مكسورًا، ضعيفًا، قويًا سوى أرحم الراحمين

"With real confidence that no one would accept to meet me five times a day in all my situations: joyous, sad, broken, weak, strong - except for the Most Merciful."

Now is the time. In the past, preachers would capture their audience with words like:

أصبحتم في أمنيةِ ناس كثير

"For countless people, you are but a wish."

Meaning, those in their graves would wish they could return to dunya to seek tawbah and make istighfār, and strive in Allāh's obedience, yet have no way to do so.

أوَليس من يعطي
Is not the one who grants

ويمنعُ رحمةً
and withholds mercy

لو لم يكُن شرًا..
If it wasn't evil

أكان ليمنعك؟
Would he have prevented you?

أوَما رعاك إذ المراكب أُغرقت
And didnt he take care of you when the boats got sunk

والحبلُ مُدَّ اذ التجنّي أوقعك؟
And the ropes were extended When you were about to fall?

أولم تجفف كل ما عانيتَهُ!
Didn't he dry up all that you suffered?

وظننتَ أنك لن تعود فأرجعك؟
And you thought you won't ever return, but you returned.

الآن تأسى إذْ وقعتَ مجددًا!
Right now you're sad when it has repeated

والله يحنو بالسقوط ليرفعك»
Allah shows compassion when you fall to lift you up.

‏﴿وَكَيفَ تَصبِرُ عَلى ما لَم تُحِط بِهِ خُبرًا﴾
"And how can you be patient over what you have no knowledge of?"

‏ليس سهلاً أن تصبر وأنت ترى الأمور تحدث بطريقة غير مفهومة، لذلك كانت منزلة الصابرين عظيمة، لو فقدت ما فقدت ، لو كسَّر الحرمان أضلاعك، ستجتاز هذه المصاعب يومًا ما، فاختر الرضا يهن عليك العبور.

It is not easy to be patient while you see things happening in an incomprehensible way, so the status of those who are patient is great. If you lose what you lost, if deprivation breaks your ribs, you will pass these hardships one day, so choose contentment, and your passage will be easy.

{ مِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ ۚ
ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ ۖ
وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنكُمْ ۗ
وَاللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ }

{ بَلِ ٱللَّهُ مَوْلَىٰكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلنَّٰصِرِينَ }

{ والله يحب المحسنين }

" اللَّهمَّ إنِّي أسأَلُكَ عِلمًا نافعًا، ورِزْقًا طيِّبًا، وعمَلًا مُتقَبَّلًا. "

اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا في الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً، وفي الآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً، وقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ.

"أَكْثِرْ من الدعاءِ فإن الدعاءَ يَرُدُّ القضاءَ المُبْرَمَ"

" أشرفُ العبادةِ الدعاءُ ."

يا اهل لذات دنيا لا بقاء لها
Oh the people of worldly pleasures that has no survival
ان اغترار بظل زاءل حمق
Being deceived by a fleeting shadow is foolish
