من الآثار القبيحة للمعاصي:
From amongst the ugly effects of sins are :
١- حرمانُ العلم.
1. Deprivation of knowledge.

٢- حرمانُ الرزق.
2. Deprivation of sustenance.

٣- وحشةٌ يجِدُها العاصي في قلبهِ
بينه وبين الله.
3. A loneliness that the sinner finds in his heart between him and Allah.

٤- الوحشةُ التي تحصلُ بينه وبين الناس.

4. The loneliness that occurs between him and people.

٥- تعسيرُ أمورِهِ عليه.
5. His affairs are difficult for him.

٦- ظلمةٌ يجِدُها في قلبهِ حقيقةً، يُحسُّ بها كما يُحسُّ بظلمةِ الليل البهيم إذا ادلهمَّ.
6. A darkness that he finds in his heart. He feels it just as he feels the darkness of a dull night if a beast guides him.

٧- أن المعاصي تُوهِنُ القلبَ والبدن.
7- Sins weakens the heart and body.

٨- حرمانُ الطاعة.
8- Prevention of obedience.

٩- أن المعاصي تُقصِّرُ العمرَ وتمحقُ بركتهُ ولا بُدَّ.
9- Sins inevitably shorten life and destroy its blessing.

‏قال العلامة مقبل الوادعي رحمه الله:
The scholar Muqbil Al-Wadi rahimullah said:

"ما أخذَ الله شيْئاً إلّا وعوّضَ خيرا منه،
“Allah never takes anything
but replaces it with something better,

والدُّنْيا دار ابتلاء، لم تكمل لِأحدٍ أبداً".
and this world is a place of trial that is never complete for anyone.”

غارة الأشرطة (474/2)

«مَا مَضَى مِنَ الدُّنيَا: أحلامٌ،
“What passed from this world: dreams,
وما بَقِيَ منهَا: أمانِيُّ،
And what remains of it: Wishes.

والوقتُ ضائِعٌ بينَهُما!».
And time between them get's wasted."

-الفوائد(٦٤)

‏"تعلمُ حاجتي فامنُنّ عليّ بها، إن لم أكُن أهلًا فإنّك أكرمُ."

"من أضاء بالقرآن طريق حياته
لم يتعثر في ظلمات الفِتن"

الإلحاح على الله بتكرير ذكر ربوبيته -يا رب- من أعظم ما يطلب به إجابة الدعاء".

"Insisting Allah with repetitive mentioning of his lordship - Ya Rab , is one of the greatest ways of asking for Allah's response of one's dua."

‏المعيقلي صوته من داخل
الحرم كميّة روحااانيّة
تبارك الله !🤍

وإذا البشائر لم تحِن أوقاتها
And if the glad tidings did not arrive at their time,
فلِحكمةٍ عند الإله تـأخرتْ
Then it is by Allah's wisdom that they're delayed.

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:

"There isn't a single ayah in the Book of Allah that praises anyone due to their lineage, nor one that criticizes anyone due to their lineage; it only praises people due to Iman and Taqwa."

الحسنات في ظلمة اللَّيل أنوارٌ يهتدي بها السَّائرون إلى الله،
Good deeds in the darkness of night are light which guides those who walk towards Allah,
فمن كثُرت حسناته فيه؛ عظُمت الأنوار التي تهديه
So whoever increases in the good deeds at night, the light towards guidance magnifies.

- saleh al osaimi حفظه الله

‏"سبحان من جعل في تفويض الأمر إليه راحة البال، وجعل في ذكره تبديد الهم.."

"Praise be to him who placed tranquility in entrusting one's affairs to him, and made in his remembrance the dissipation of worries..."

We don't know which land, which heart, and which decision is good for us. But we believe that good is in what Allāh has chosen for us. ♡

‏والله ما رأينا الخير إلا من الله،
By Allah, we have not seen goodness except from Allah,

ولا رأينا الجبر إلا من الله،
nor have we seen strength except from Allah,

ولا وجدنا الراحة إلا بالقرب من الله،
nor have we found comfort except in closeness to Allah,

ولا وجدنا حسن التدبير إلا من الله فحسب!
nor have we found good planning/destiny except from Allah alone,

فلماذا نخاف ونقلق وأمورنا كُلّها وحاجاتنا ومستقبلنا بيده؟
So why do we fear and worry while all our affairs, our needs, and our future are in His hand?

ونحن نعلم أننا لن نجد ألطف ولا أحن ولا أكرم من الله!
And we know that we will not find anyone more kind, more compassionate and more generous than Allah!

Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. If you ask, ask from Allah. If you seek help, seek help from Allah. Know that if the nations gathered together to benefit you, they could not benefit you unless Allah has decreed it for you. And if the nations gathered together to harm you, they could not harm you unless Allah has decreed it for you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.

ينبغي استدامة الدعاء وترك اليأس من الإجابة، ودوام رجائهما واستدامة الإلحاح في الدعاء، فإن الله يحب الملحِّين في الدعاء» –القرطبي

"It is necessary to make continuous supplications and abandon despair of an answer, and to have constant hope and perseverance in supplication, for Allah loves those who are persistent in supplication.”

- Al-Qurtubi

يقول بعض السلف:
"يُعرض على ابن آدم يوم القيامة ساعات عمره، فكل ساعةٍ لم يذكر الله فيها تتقطع نفسه عليها حسرات"

One of the salaf said :
"On the Day of Resurrection, the hours of his life will be presented to the son of Adam, and for every hour in which he does not remember Allah, his soul will be torn with regret."

The khateeb of the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Dr Al Sheikh in today's sermon:

"كلما ازداد الإنسان معرفة بأسماء الله وصفاته = ازداد إيمانًا به، وعبوديةً، وهيبةً، وإجلالًا، وخضوعًا، وتذلُّلًا، ورغبة، وطلبًا."

"The more a person knows about Allah's names and attributes, the more he increases in his faith, servitude, awe, reverence, submission, humility, desire, and pursuit."

﴿قُل إِنّي أَخافُ إِن عَصَيتُ رَبّي عَذابَ يَومٍ عَظيمٍ﴾ [سورة الأنعام: ١٥]
Say, 'Indeed, if I disobey my Lord, I fear the punishment of a great day." [Surat Al-An'am: 15]

ألا يستحـيي العبـدُ أن يعصـيَ مَن يعتني به ويُربِّيه؟
Isn't the servant ashamed to disobey the one who cares for him and raises him?

ألم يكن حقيقًا به أن يفعلَ ما يقرِّبه منه ويُرضيه؟!
Isn't it appropriate for him to do deeds that would bring him closer to Allah and satisfy him?!
