اللَّهُمَّ أصلِح لي ديني الذي هو عِصمَةُ أمرِي، وأصلِحْ لي دنيَايَ التي فيها معاشي، وأصلِح لي آخرتِي التي فيها معادِي واجعَلِ الحيَاةَ زِيادَةً لي في كلِّ خيْرٍ، واجعَلِ المَوتَ راحةً لي منْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ.

اللَّهُمَّ إني أعوذُ بكَ منْ زَوالِ نعمتِكَ وتحَول عافِيَتِكَ وفُجاءةِ نِقمَتِكَ وجميعِ سَخَطِكَ.

﴿ربَّنا هَبْ لنا من أَزواجنا وذُرياتنا قُرةَ أَعيُنٍ واجعَلنا لِلمُتَّقينَ إِماماً﴾

(رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنزلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ...)

(ربنا آتنا في الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة وقنا عذاب النار ..)

قال سفيان بن عيينة - رحمه الله -:

‏إنّما آيات القرآن خزائن، فإذا دخلت خزانة فاجتهد
‏ألا تخرج منها حتى تعرف ما فيها.

Sufyan bin Uyaynah - may Allah have mercy on him - said:

The verses of the Qur’an are like treasures, so if you enter inside the treasure, strive hard
Do not leave it until you know what’s in it.

زاد المسير (370/2)

أيها الصائمون
O those who are fasting

إن للصائم دعوة لا ترد حتى يفطر؛
the fasting person has an invitation that will not be rejected until he breaks his fast

فادعوا ربكم بكل ما تحبون من خير الدنيا والآخرة
so pray to your Lord for all the goodness of this world and the hereafter..

Three hours every day in Ramadān that you should not waste - no matter the price!

- The hour just before Iftār: free up that time exclusively for Dua', for indeed the fasting person at the time of breaking has Dua' that will not be rejected.

- The last hour of the night, make it seclusion with yourself and Allah.

- The hour after Fajr Salah, this is when you sit down after Fajr in your place of prayer until sunrise (engage in Qur'ān/Dhikr/Dua').

وصف ابن الجوزي شهر رمضان فقال:
"ما من دعاءٍ إلا مسموع، ولا عمل إلا مرفوع، ولا خيرٍ إلا مجموع، ولا ضررٍ إلا مدفوع"

‏- اللهُمَّ قبول وإجابة وخير-

Ibn al-Jawzi described the month of Ramadan and said:
“There is no supplication that is not heard, there is no action that is not raised, there is no good but is gathered, and there is no harm that is not taken away.”


- Oh God, accept, answer and grant us goodness -

In his epic book of history, al-hafidh ibn Kathir mentions the death of his teacher ibn Taymiyah. He shares that he died during the last part of the night and that the muezzin of the fortress where he was imprisoned announced his death. Business did not open that morning and people gathered around the fortress and his close relatives and friends were let in to see the body. Ibn Kathir then shared the following news from ibn Taymiyah's brother who had been in prison with him:

[وَأَخْبَرَ الْحَاضِرِينَ أَخُوهُ زَيْنُ الدِّينِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ أنه قرأ هو والشيخ منذ دخل الْقَلْعَةَ ثَمَانِينَ خَتْمَةً وَشَرَعَا فِي الْحَادِيَةِ وَالثَّمَانِينَ، فانتهينا فيها إلى آخر اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ ٥٤: ١ إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ في جَنَّاتٍ وَنَهَرٍ في مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِنْدَ مَلِيكٍ مُقْتَدِرٍ ٥٤: ٥٤- ٥٥ ]

His brother Zayn al-Deen 'Abd al-Rahman told those present that since he and sheikh ibn Taymiyah had been imprisoned they had completed 80 complete readings of the Qur'an and has started on their 81st reading and had reached to the end of surah al-Qamar [54]:

[إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَنَهَرٍ *‏ فِي مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍ]

"The righteous ones will be among gardens and rivers * In a seat of honor near an Almighty King." [54-55]

قال أحد العابدين: دواء القلب خمسة أشياء:

- قراءة القرآن بالتدبر.
- وخلو البطن (بالصيام).
- وقيام الليل.
- والتضرع (دعاء مع ذل وانكسار) عند السَحَر (قبل الفجر).
- ومجالسة الصالحين.
