The best days.

A'rafa is approaching, prepare your wishes, organize your dua' , and seek with a certain heart, the one who created A'rafa and made it as the best of the days, and made it's fast as a means of forgiveness of the sins of the previous and the coming year, Would never turn away the dua on it.
Prepare yourselves for goodness approach with its arrival, and it is the goodness we have been waiting for from year to year.

Until you obtain forgiveness and freedom from the fire.

Ibn Rajab رحمه الله said:
Whoever aspires to be freed from fire and be forgiven of his sins on the day of Arafa , let him preserve the ways for which he hopes for freedom and Allah's forgiveness.
From amongst them are:

1- صيام ذلك اليوم، ففي صحيح مسلم أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: (صيام يوم عرفة أحتسب على الله أن يكفر السنة التي قبله والتي بعده)، [وهو سنة لغير الحاج، أما الحاج فلا يصوم ليتقوى على الدعاء]

1. Fasting that day.
It is narrated from a saheeh hadith that prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
"I anticipate that the fast of the day of Arafa expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year." (And it is sunnah for the non hujjaj as for the hujjaj then they don't fast in order to gain strength for supplications.)

2. Protection of limbs from the forbidden matters on that day.
In the musnad Ahmad , the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:
"It is this day in which the one who protects his hearing, sight and toungue is forgiven."

3. Abundance of shahada at tawheed with sincerity and submission, for it is the foundation of the Islam , that day Allah completed it and it's foundations and in the musnad on the authority of Abdullah bin Umar ,he said : Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم used to frequently recite the dua on yaum Al a'rafa :
"None has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is Able to do all things."

Let him beware of sins that prevent him from being forgiven and freedom from fire.

" متى وقت بدء الدعاء في عرفة ؟

‏- يبدأ بعد الزوال إذا زالت الشمس مِن كبد السماء بعد صلاة الظهر حتى وقت الغروب قبيل صلاة المغرب.. هذه أرجى ساعات إجابة الدعاء " .
A'ta رحمه الله said :

"If you are able to seclude yourself on the afternoon of the day of a'rafa ,then do so."

(Az Zahd imam ahmad 2221)

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "You must not supplicate: 'O Allah! forgive me if You wish; O Allah bestow mercy on me if You wish.' But beg from Allah with certitude for no one has the power to compel Allah."

(Al bhukhari and muslim)

Another narration of Muslim is:

"A supplication should be made in full confidence and one should persistently express his desire (before Allah) in his supplication, for no bounty is too great for Allah to bestow (upon his slaves)."

The day of Eid is still a day of obedience to Allah:

Some of the companions of Sufyān ath-Thawrī رحمهم الله said:

“We went out with ath-Thawrī on the day of ‘Eīd and he said: ‘Verily, the first thing we will begin our day with is lowering the gaze.”

O dear brothers (and sisters) begin this blessed day with an act of obedience and not it’s opposite, if you truly love Allah!

Avoid the haram so that Allah can reward you with the halal, in this life and in the next!

Strive against your soul for indeed a slave of Allah will continue to strive until it meets its Lord. Indeed Allah is pleased with the Muhsineen and the Muttaqun

I ask Allah to make us from them and those whom Allah will elevate their ranks in the Hereafter.

(One can also take from this, that a day of celebration in Islam is not to be taken as a day off from obedience of Allah.

Rather even on such blessed days, one is to be engaged in the worship and taqwa of Allah, not the opposite).
Attention.

A'rafa is over but the ten best days are not!

You are in the final episode and the actions are judged by their conclusion.

Do you know that many scholars are of the opinion that Yaum an nahr (day of sacrifice) is better than the day of A'rafa?

Do not let your preparations for Eid prevent you from doing the most out of the last day of the Ashra.

Narrated Abdullah ibn Qurt:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

The greatest day in Allah's sight is the day of sacrifice.

(Sunan Abi Dawud 1765)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said concerning the days of Tashreeq: “They are days of eating, drinking and remembering Allaah.”

Dhikr (remembering Allaah) is enjoined during the days of tashreeq in several ways:

-Remembering Allaah immediately after the prescribed prayers by reciting Takbeer. This is prescribed until the end of the days of Tashreeq according to the majority of scholars.

-Remembering Him by saying Bismillaah and Allaahu akbar when slaughtering the sacrificial animal. The time for slaughtering the hadiy and udhiyah lasts until the end of days of Tashreeq.

-Remembering Allaah when eating and drinking. It is prescribed when eating and drinking to say Bismillaah at the beginning, and to praise Him (say Al-hamdu Lillaah) at the end. According to the hadeeth narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him):

“Allaah likes His slave when he eats something to praise Him for it, and when he drinks something to praise Him for it.”

Narrated by Muslim, 2734.

-Remembering Him by saying Takbeer when stoning the Jamaraat on the days of Tashreeq. This applies only to the pilgrims on Hajj.

-Remembering Allaah in general. It is mustahabb to make a lot of dhikr during the days of Tashreeq. ‘Umar used to recite Takbeer in Mina in his tent, and when the people heard him they recited Takbeer too and Mina echoed with the sound of their Takbeer. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“So when you have accomplished your Manaasik [rituals of Hajj], remember Allaah as you remember your forefathers or with a far more remembrance. But of mankind there are some who say: “Our Lord! Give us (Your Bounties) in this world!” and for such there will be no portion in the Hereafter. (2:200)

Many of the salaf regarded it as mustahabb to make a lot of du’aa’ during the days of tashreeq.

The words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), “These are days of eating, drinking and remembering Allaah” indicate that eating and drinking during the days of Eid are means that help one to remember Allaah and obey Him; perfect gratitude for the blessing means using it to help one obey and worship Allaah,

In His Book Allaah commands us to eat of good things and thank Him for them. So whoever uses Allaah’s blessings to commit sin is showing ingratitude for the blessing of Allaah, so he deserves to have it taken away from him.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade fasting on these days: “Do not fast on these days, for they are the days of eating, drinking and remembering Allaah.”

Narrated by Ahmad, 10286; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 3573.

Hope you all had a good time🌹🌸

Ibn Rajab rahimahullaah said:

“Eid is not for the one who wears new clothes. Eid is for the one whose obedience rises. Eid is not for the one with beautiful clothes and fine means of transport, Eid is for the one whose sins are forgiven.”

(Lataif Al ma'rif Pg 277)
(Whatever good you send forth for your souls you will find it with Allah, better and greater in reward)

A good deed brings a tenfold
reward, up to seven hundredfold, upto many more times.

It should be noted that an atom’s weight of good in this world is many times better than this world and all that it contains, because of what it will lead to in paradise of pleasures and delights. Goodness and righteousness in this world will be the cause of goodness and immense reward in the hereafter, for that is the seed, basis and foundation of goodness in the hereafter.

How regrettable is time spent in heedlessness, and how regrettable is time spent without doing any righteous deeds.
How regrettable it is to see hearts that are not affected by the exhortation of their Creator, and for whom all the encouragement of the One Who is more merciful to them than they are to themselves is to no avail.

There is no power and no strength except in You , O Allah.

~ Imam Sa'di
