MATHEMATICS TIPS
1. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗮𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱 📖
Maths is not really as content-heavy as history and psychology, however it does require a really thorough understanding of the content, formulas and applications. Therefore, it’s always a good idea to get a course outline and read the chapters ahead of class. You will find it easier to understand the knowledge when the teacher actually starts going through it in the class!!
2. 𝗗𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 🙇🏻♀️
Doing a lot of practice questions is certainly important for learning, however, if you only repeat doing similar questions for practice, it’s not going to be helpful for the exam.
3. 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 ✔️
Instead of copying the right answers for the questions you got wrong and then leave them forever, it’s definitely more helpful if you go back through these questions and try redoing them. This way, you can check whether you are actually able to understand these problems and avoid these mistakes in the future.
4. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 👩🎓
To ace those tech-active papers, you need to learn all the important calculator skills and be able to apply these functions quickly and precisely. These marks are usually the easiest one to get!!
5. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱𝘀 🧮
As we all know, there could be multiple ways to solve one particular question. Even if you do know how to do a question in your own way, it’s still beneficial to learn what others solve it and understand the problem from different perspectives. This helps you get a more thorough understanding of the problem and you will be able to select the best approach when encountering similar questions in the future.
