Confusing Verb Tenses: “I did” vs. “I have done”
“I did” = Simple Past (specific time in the past)
“I have done” = Present Perfect (no specific time; still relevant now)
Examples:
• I did my homework last night. (Past action, time mentioned)
• I have done my homework. (Past action, but time is not mentioned — result matters now)
