Sub:- Regarding Nursing Council Registration Date Issue in GIMS Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing regarding the ongoing GIMS Staff Nurse Recruitment 2026 application process.

As clearly mentioned in the recruitment notification under the section “Educational and Experience Qualifications”:

> “For recruitment to all the vacant posts mentioned in the above Table-1, it is essential for the candidate to possess the mandatory qualifications (educational and others) and preferential qualifications by the last date of application.”

As per the above provision, candidates are required to possess the mandatory qualifications by the last date of application.

However, while filling out the online application form on the GIMS recruitment portal, the Nursing Council Issuance Date & Registration Date field is not accepting dates after 01 June 2026. Due to this restriction, candidates whose Nursing Council registration was issued/renewed after 01 June 2026 are unable to enter their correct registration details, despite having the required qualification by the last date of application.

Therefore, I kindly request the concerned authority to:

1. Clarify whether Nursing Council registration obtained after 01 June 2026 but before the last date of application is eligible for the recruitment.
2. Remove/modify the date restriction in the online application portal so that eligible candidates can enter their actual Nursing Council Issuance/Registration Date.
3. Provide an appropriate solution or clarification so that eligible candidates are not deprived of the opportunity to apply due to a portal-related date restriction.

I request you to kindly look into this issue at the earliest and make the necessary correction/clarification.
