happened to bump onto this question and got confused sebab dlm textbook dia explain induction cooker and yes induction cooker and electrical cooker aren't the same thing even though both are electrical-powered and lazimnya look just the same.
•induction cooker
-uses electromagnetic induction to generate heat directly into the cooking pot/pan
-highly energy-efficient since heat is generated directly.
-👩🍳 requires spesific cookware made up of ferromagnetic materials (eg:cast iron/stainless steel)
-uses high-frequency alternating current (ac)
meanwhile,
•electrical cooker
-uses resistive heating element to convert electrical energy>heat energy.
-the heat will be transferred from heating element to the pot and then to the food. (heating element>pot>content(food)
-less efficient bc more heat loss to the surrounding compared to induction cooker.
