📖 Subject–Verb Agreement

✨ When two singular subjects refer to the same person or thing, use a singular verb.

📝 Examples:

✅ The owner and manager is attending the meeting. (One person who is both owner and manager.)

✅ My friend and guide has arrived. (One person.)

❌ The owner and manager are attending the meeting.

✨ But if they refer to different people, use a plural verb.

📝 Examples:

✅ The owner and the manager are attending the meeting. (Two different people.)

✅ My friend and my guide have arrived.

❌ The owner and the manager is attending the meeting.

💡 Quick Tip:
No repeated article/possessive ➜ Usually one person➜ Singular verb ✅

Repeated article/possessive➜ Different people➜ Plural verb ✅

📚 Pay attention to articles (the, a, an) and possessives (my, his, her)—they can completely change the meaning! 🌟
