Conversation vs Communication

Communication:
- A broad process of sending and receiving messages.
- Can be verbal or non-verbal (e.g. gestures, facial expressions, writing).
- One-way or two-way.
- Example: A teacher giving instructions, a text message, body language.

Conversation:
- A type of communication.
- Usually informal and verbal.
- Always two-way (involves turn-taking).
- Example: Chatting with a friend, discussing ideas in a group.

Kesemua kapal Freedom Flotilla Coalition (FFC) dan Thousand Madleens To Gaza (TMTG) telah dipintas rejim Israel pada lingkungan 120 batu nautika dari Gaza.

Dilaporkan kapal Consience telah diserang sebuah helikopter rejim Israel.

Misi kemanusiaan ke Gaza ini disertai 93 orang, terdiri daripada doktor, wartawan dan aktivis dari pelbagai negara.

Seramai sembilan rakyat Malaysia menyertai misi ini; lapan daripadanya menaiki kapal Conscience dan seorang kapal Umm Saad.

Changing Verbs into Nouns (Nominalisation)

When we add a suffix to a verb, we can change it into a noun. This process is called nominalisation.

These nouns often describe:
- an action
- a result
- a state

Common suffixes:

1. -ion / -tion / -sion
- Added to many verbs to form abstract nouns.
- Examples:
- communicatecommunication
- educateeducation
- decidedecision
- confessconfession

2. -ment
- Often used to form nouns showing results or states.
- Examples:
- developdevelopment
- achieveachievement
- treattreatment

3. -ance / -ence
- These suffixes also form nouns showing a state, quality, or action.
- Examples:
- appearappearance
- performperformance
- differdifference
- existexistence

4. -ing (Gerund form)
- Verbs ending in -ing can also act as nouns.
- Examples:
- swimswimming
- readreading
- paintpainting

Examples in sentences:
- Education is important for success. (educateeducation)
- His performance was impressive. (performperformance)
- Reading helps improve your vocabulary. (readreading)

-er to verbs, and how we use it to describe people who do certain actions or jobs.

Adding -er to Verbs

The suffix -er is commonly added to verbs to form nouns. These nouns usually refer to:

1. A person who does a specific action or activity
2. A person who has a particular job or role
3. Sometimes, a tool or device that performs an action

This process also helps us name people based on what they do.

Examples:

- teachteacher (a person who teaches)
- runrunner (a person who runs)
- writewriter (a person who writes)
- singsinger (a person who sings)
- workworker (a person who works)
- drivedriver (a person who drives)
- farmfarmer (a person who farms)
- buildbuilder (a person who builds)

Other examples with tools/devices:
- printprinter (a device that prints)
- mixmixer (a tool used for mixing)
- openopener (a tool that opens something)

Notes:
- The root word is usually a verb.
- Adding -er changes the verb into a noun (a person or thing).
- Spelling may change slightly for some words. For example:
- write → writer (drop the silent "e")
- run → runner (double the final consonant)

Examples in sentences:
- My sister is a talented singer.

The farmer works from sunrise to sunset.
- We need a new printer for the office.
- He’s a fast runner and wins many races.

Common suffixes related to forming nouns from verbs or describing people by their roles, actions, or professions, just like -er:

1. -or
Used like -er to describe a person who does an action.
Examples:
- actactor
- inventinventor
- directdirector

2. -ist
Describes a person with a specific skill, profession, or belief.
Examples:
- artartist
- sciencescientist
- pianopianist
- journaljournalist

3. -ian
Often used for people in certain professions or expertise.
Examples:

4. -ant / -ent
Also forms nouns for people who do an action.
Examples:

5. -ee
Refers to the person who receives the action.

6. -ship
Used to show state or condition (not for people, but still related to nouns).

7. -ness / -ity

All these suffixes help expand your vocabulary by forming related nouns from verbs, adjectives, or other nouns.

PENGAJARAN SELEPAS TRIAL 👑

*sorry panjang, but sangat bermanfaat. Based on my experience ❤️🥲 -

1. Selalu lah buat soalan KBAT

Sebab masa buat exam, kita selalu tak jangka soalan sesusah tu akan keluar. Dan soalan SPM 50% KBAT, jadi .. kena banyakkan buat KBAT.

2. Elakkan tidur lambat sebab study

Bila tidur lambat, otak letih. So masa exam, korang tak boleh nak push otak untuk fikirkan jawapan sebab tak cukup tidur dan mengantuk. So ni memang kesalahan paling besar aku buat.

3. Study last minute tak membantu

Sebab masa study last minute, korang hanya akan belajar topik ramalan sedangkan bukannya 100% betul. Akhirnya, masa exam, topik ramalan tak leh score, topik bukan ramalan pun tak boleh score walaupun soalan senang.

4. Identify topik yang boleh skor

Korang kena study the exam paper. Tengok soalan apa yang selalu keluar kat bahagian esei atau soalan yang banyak markah. Belajarlah topik tu sungguh-sungguh.

5. Hafal lah dari awal

Belajarlah topik yang sama banyak kali. Jangan belajar sekali je tau. Jangan expect korang akan ingat benda yang korang belajar sampai SPM kalau study sekali je.

6. Jadi orang yang teratur

Sediakan file, susun buku ikut subjek, highlight info penting, susun semua nota dan apa apa je kertas yang cikgu bagi. Trust me, masa exam.. korang takkan serabut sebab semua dah tersusun, tinggal grab je.

7. Identify kelemahan dan kekuatan

Korang lemah topik apa? Fokus benda tu. And at the same time fokus jugak topik yang boleh score. Sehari belajar 1 topik lemah dan 1 topik susah. Topik susah - 2 jam, topik senang - 1 jam.

8. Kena selalu tanya

Bayangkan, berbulan kita study, tapi kita tak tanya apa apa pun. Masa last minute tu, tiba tiba 10 soalan kita nak tanya. Rasa menyesal kan? Hopefully kita tak ulang benda yang sama.

apa yang sha nak sampaikn adalah , korang tahu kan everytime trial mesti ada peruncingan or we call as ramalan .. ok kita tahu mesti la korang nk score kan time trial tapi apa yang boleh bagitahu ni based on my experience jangan terbiasa dengan peruncingan / ramalan sebab nanti korang hanya focus pada beberapa tajuk ..

so pesanan kita baca la semua tajuk if ada 20 chapter khatam la 20 tu .. boleh percaya ramalan as long you tahu semua tajuk and point dalam buku tu, takde la menangis kalau tajuk yg korang target tu tak masuk 😊

study lah dari sekarang, na bagitahu ni sebab tak nak korang menyesal .. kalau nk menyesal pun takde guna sebab " nasi dah jadi bubur " ambil ni as lesson

for batch 08 buat yang terbaik , sila ambil iktibar daripada batch 06 JANGAN PERCAYA RAMALAN 100 %
TIPS UNTUK KONSISTEN BUAT HOMEWORK/STUDY EVEN ADA PHONE DEKAT SEBELAH 🤓



🍂 ask yor parent/mom to lock your phone ( suggested time buat homework )
• suruh mak korang tukar password phone korang , remove fingerprint . so that even your phone dekat sebelah you , you still tak bole bukak and at the same time , play a song if wanted . set mind that , " selagi tak siap homework satu subjct tu selagi tu aku tak boleh mintak mak aku bukak kan phone ni " and ask your mom to be strict at that time so even when you ask your mom to unlock the phone , dia takkan bagi sebab homework you tak siap 😂 kinda funny but real 😅😂 and he also said that , makesure ada notification sebab bila nampak notification tu , kita akan makin tak sabar nak bukak phone and homework jalan dengan lajunya 😭👍🏻

and when i ask my brother " how about if the homework is on the phone ? " then dia kata apa tau " i akan screen shot page latihan/nota dalam phone tu , and akan set gambar tu sebagai wallpaper lock screen i so i buat homework tu , tak perlu bukak phone pun , tengok lock screen je 😂 " i really shocked he's very creative 😂


🍂 use your parent/mom as your pomodoro timer ( suggested for study )
• still the same , makesure you taktau password phone you . and ask your mom untuk bukak kan phone lepas study dalam 30 - 40 minit . then tengok la phone tu dalam 20 minit . lepastu off balik phone then sambung . well sometimes student nak betul² follow rules pomodoro tu payah sikit en 😭 so tak salah kalau nak guna your mom as your pomodoro timer . it's also such a good idea !! anddd for this time , you kena off notification , bcs when you study , you kena study betul² sebelum rehat . so just off notification and just focus on study .


my review :: last saturday i ada try guna yang first tips tu sebab buku modul psi i memang kosong huhu and isnin pulak nak sch so i just try this tips and at the end , i dapat siapkan satu modul tu lengkap weyh 🤩🥳 happy la rasa tenang je nak tido 😭
