today's read

Ultimately, I felt people just wanted to keep
doing what they were already doing instead of
looking forward with courage. That's a common
frustration for anyone working in a large
corporation.

Movie recommendations ….🙂‍↕️
So I watched Frankenstein cos yodit recommended it and I LOVED it...(thanks ☺️)
It wasn’t scary at all, just really interesting and honestly kind of heartbreaking…..(left me with lot of questions )

Then I decided to watch (my recommendation for y'all )
2001: A Space Odyssey on my own… and damn.
At first I was completely confused, but after digging into the book explanations and the ideas behind it, everything clicked…..
The amount of detail, symbolism, and care in every scene is insane. It’s honestly mind-blowing.(so slow but it make senseeee u may feel bored or sleepy but it's )

Here’s the main idea of the movie
It’s about human evolution being guided by something far more advanced than us.
Those black monoliths are basically “cosmic upgrade devices” that appear at key moments in history to push humanity to the next level.

And now that I finally understand it… (kinda ) WOW. My mind is actually blown.
I’m definitely going to read the book someday because the concept is 🔥

As someone who took Econ 101 in college, I was reading this article and suddenly realized something:
when we “trade,” we’re not really trading objects we’re trading the rights to use them.

That idea led me down a rabbit hole of how property rights actually shape economies, and it was way more interesting (and complicated) than the simple supply-and-demand diagrams we learned.

Econ 101 teaches markets as if they work on their own.
But in reality, markets only work when the rules of ownership (who can use something, exclude others, or transfer it) are clear, fair, and enforceable.

And when I looked deeper, the real world shows this in dramatic ways:..as u see in the diagram (chat gave me )..I wanna dig deeper evennn
