Our final year is almost here, and class will start soon:))).... We hope this year won’t disappoint ourselves🥰, even though the school disappointed us by twice the fee😭. I’m sure it will be a stressful year tho .

No more college journey perhaps

since May, I’ve been trying to improve my coding, and honestly, the progress hasn’t been easy. I was assigned a project by mentor to build a small “fake online bookstore” as a way to practice both frontend and backend.

Even though it’s not perfect or polished, the process taught me a lot. I learned how authentication works (and I realized that next time I can use better auth solutions I was reading documentation recently and saw many things I had been struggling with explained clearly). I also explored payment integration, trying out how Stripe flows work, and I got a better understanding of some backend concepts.

For the backend, I used NestJS, Prisma, and Postgres. It wasn’t always easy, but I can say the project helped me connect theory with practice and gave me confidence to try real-world features.

So even if it was just a fake project, it became a valuable learning experience for me tho this was not cool now I can learn things confidently and also I want to understand ts deeply so this is the start

I want to say Thanks for the assistance I receive and the resources that provide guidance💛. (These resources have helped me explore a lot of things and the advices 🥰 w .)

To my mentor and my friend .. I can now confidently say that it’s time for me to learn deeper and explore new stuffs ..

I’ve come to realize that the learning stage carries a kind of freedom. Mistakes aren’t seen as failures, but as natural steps forward. People tend to respond with guidance suggesting better approaches or sharing useful resources. And there’s no shame in admitting, “I don’t know how to do this yet can you help me?”

Okay sooo… this is my little bookstore demo (explaining to my mentor )😅.
Warning🚨: if you’ve got design OCD, please don’t roast me 😂

I kinda stole ahem got inspired by some UI stuff from Dribbble, Goodread, [Aura](https://www.aura.build/), and all those Shadcn goodies out there.

At first I was so obsessed with the backend that I totally forgot the frontend existed … then when I finally touched it, I spent forever trying to make the homepage “perfect” and forgot the rest lmao.

Anywayyy, here’s me explaining a few things that actually work right now (like the “send to friend” feature). My friends forced me to share this because they know the struggle. So yeah....I’m still learning, still breaking things, and still figuring it all out (that's the freedom I'm talking abt ).
