My phone got stolen in a taxi. I tracked it on my Mac using Find My and saw exactly where it was. I locked it and put it in Lost Mode right away.

I went to three different police stations and showed them the live location. They told me to just go home and call when it’s turned on. When I did, they said, “Go and get him, we will come.” That response made me laugh but also kind of mad.wtfffff bro (what a police )😭😳😳

Yeah, I should’ve been a little more careful. I was a bit lost in my own mind (was reading a book too ), but fr tho it’s at least the police’s job to help me even a little, right?

So now I just sit here watching my phone on the map at Merkato market. I can’t do anything except keep it locked and wait. At least I love my iPhone and Mac even more now, because they let me track it so clearly. ...Hopefully the person who has it, or someone around them, will call me.🥹
