People sometimes don’t really want advice.
They just want someone to validate or co-sign their decisions, and if it goes wrong, they look for someone to blame. That’s why giving advice can feel like a trap

The year turns, whether or not we are ready for it. It does not ask, it simply arrives quietly, as if time itself were reminding us that nothing stands still. We number the days, we call it a calendar, but what truly remains are the traces left on us: the ache of loss, the sudden brightness of joy, the long hours where nothing seemed to change and yet somehow we did.

Some years teach through absence, through the unbearable fact that someone we love is gone and will never return. Other years lift us unexpectedly, granting success, healing, or a quiet sense of forward motion. And in between are all the ordinary days, where life feels like repetition, but in repetition we are still alive, still present, still carrying ourselves forward.
