it's been a hectic week since it's exam season, however i'm finished with all of my exams for now. i'll try my best to drop some notes for English every week.
however, that's not my intention as to why i'm writing this. i want to bring awareness to a scammer, actually. a friend of mine got scammed when buying a novel online, here's how the whole thing went:
a random person messaged her on Telegram and asked if she wanted to buy any novel. they had a suspiciously wide variety of novels to sell and an oddly high price. but, since she's an absolute angel, she turned a blind eye on her suspicions and decided to buy a novel that costed her RM18 including shipping.
after filling out her address, she waited for her novel. she had been waiting for a while, so she wanted to message the novel seller. however, she couldn't find their messages. not one trace of the seller was seen, and she had wasted RM18 (mind you, her TnG only had RM18.52 before the purchase at the time) on essentially nothing.
therefore, everyone, please be aware before buying stuff online. it's easy to get ripped off especially if you're a student. i hope this kind of things would never happen to any of you guys.
