HOW PREGNANCY TESTS WORK?
BAGAIMANA ALAT PENGESAN KEHAMILAN BERFUNGSI?
1. Human chorionic gonadotrophine (hCG) is secreted by placenta.
2. The level of this hormone increases at the early stages of pregnancy (after 9 days of fertilisation).
3. It double every two or three days for the first four week of pregnancy.
4. Its function is to ensure that the corpus luteum continues to secrete oestrogen & progesterone in the early stage of pregnancy.
